| Well, I have not taken him to the vet, but in the past few days he has become a lot more active. A friend of mine suggested that I give him a lot of attention and just continue to play with him. I have been doing that daily, and i bought him some karo syrup from the local grocery store. He has been taking that daily. he's eating a lot better. i think that he had the puppy blues. Today I took him shopping with me and he was so active. he was running all over the place. i hid him in my purse into a resturant and he didn't like the purse. lol. he started barking in the resturant and we got kicked out. i am sorry it took me a few days to give you guys an update on Neo. He's kept me busy on my feet. But i am so happy to let you all know that he looks like he will be jsut fine. thanks!! |

I do not know how long you have had him? Something may or may not be right about him. PLease get him checked out! Little puppoes do tend to sleep a lot, however, not having energy to walk concerns me. Is he eating and drinking well? Is he a very tiny Yorkie? For your piece of mind I highly suggest you get him in to the vet as soon as possible . | |

| Just an update on Neo. He has been doing very well. He's so adorable!! He runs around the house like crazy now and when I'm in the kitchen cooking, he's right by my side. I think he's hoping i'd drop him a goodie. |

| Yorkie Yakker | Everyone is telling you all the right thing to try. If that doesn't work I would take him to the vet to have his heart checked. My first yorkie had a bad heart and this is how she acted so please have him checked out. I have also raised yorkies for 20 years and love everyone of my furbabies![]() Donna & Asti |

| Hi i was reading about your concerns for your puppy. I am so happy he is feeling better. he is really adorable! I was wondering...not wanting to come across overly cautious..yet this is SO important...I am speaking about taking the puppy out and about before he has had all of his shots (series of 4 injections). Did the breeder, whom you got your baby from, warn you about this? You see the puppies are so vulnerable to "Parvo" , all the way up until they have had their last shot. Parvo is such a terrible , highly contagious disease. It is a killer..especially to puppies. Then when you consider how tiny Yorkie puppies are, this makes them even more susceptable to this devistating disease. Parvo can be transmitted by many different avenues. If you allow your puppy to be on the ground, on grass , where a dog with parvo has been, If someone has been to a pet shop(or anywhere) where they have had contact with a sick puppy, and then they just touch your puppy, there is a high chance that your baby will contract the disease. It has been proved over and over that they are not totally protected from "parvo" until they have had the complete series of (4) shots. I do realize that this sounds extreme, yet , if you read online about Parvo...you will see that what I am saying is generally agreed to by people who breed and own dogs. The symptomes start with vomiting, bloody diahrrea, they succumb quickly. I just thought I would tell you, in case you didn't know. It is obvious that you love your baby Yorkie very much and I know you want the best for him. |

| I have a two year old yorkie and a two and a half month old female, and both of my puppys were playful and had high enegery, mostly in the morning. But at the same time they do sleep a lot when they are puppys. But to be on the safe side if the karo does not help, and the vet says the pup is fine, and you are still concerned I would get a second opinion for sure. Please keep us updated on your new baby. |

| THanks for the concern. Neo has had all four shots. He got two from the breeder and i gave him his last two sets. But..i am an new dog owner and ..how often do you give a dog parvo shots? i know it's a series of 4 shots, but is it annually or how does that work? |

| Every year..depending on the state you live in, rabies is every three..Every state is different..They should send you a reminder card..You know what is a really good book, yorkies for dummies..I found this to be pretty informative. I worked in a animal hospital for a long while and learned some pretty good things from this book. |
