Well, I would be tickled pink to keep this encouraging thread updated about YOU and Tink!!! I am so glad TINK had a tremendous turn around and is headed in the right direction. Now you need to do the same with your surgery and therapy.

It is so encouraging to hear all the positive things about Tink and it is wonderful to know that she is in "good" hands..........takes a lot off of your mind to know she is being so well cared for! HUGE HUGS!!!!

Susie, I will be praying for you and Tink while you both heal.

You and Tink are like two peas in a pod! Both very stong females.

I am so happy for you that Tink is out of the hospital, and in the care of such loving hands. It must have been wonderful for you, sitting in that chair, rocking your precious girl while she slept.
I will be thinking of you during your recuperation from the surgery.....I also wish they could sneak Tink in for a visit with her Mama - you would help each other heal even more.

Susie, I'm so happy to see that Tink is stable and doing well. She can see! She can see!!!

Thanks so much for the update! I'm still thinking about you both and keeping you in my thoughts/prayers. It seems like ages since we've yahoo'd. I haven't been around much in the evenings, but will make a real effort this weekend!

Bernie is doing the get well dance for Tink. :)

So happy to hear how much better Tink is doing. Continuing to pray for her recovery. You really are blessed to have someone who will care for her in theri home.

What a very touching post. :smile: I am so happy to hear that Tink is out of the hospital and is getting excellent care. What a real trooper you have there, Susie. ;)

Take Care of yourself also, like you said she needs you and you need her. Both of you are in my thoughts and prayers. :hands:

Tink sat up today! really wobbley and swaying, but sat up and didn't fall over!

Thanks all. I was so excited too 'cause I was there when it happened. I went to the vet school this afternoon so I could watch the physical therapy they are giving her. I'll need to continue it when she comes back home.

I couldn't believe my eyes when she pushed herself up on her front legs and sat. She was leaning a little to one side but she was up and trying desperately to hold her head all the way up. The therapist couldn't believe it either. She thot she was too weak to hold herself up, but she did!

I'm so happy that she is getting some strength back. To me that means that there is definitely hope she will have some quality life ahead of her. I can't wait til monday when I can talk o the vet about it. Yay God - Yay Tink!! Thanks YT members and friends for holding us up during all this. I really really appreciate each one of you.

I'm so glad you asked! I didn't check my mail when I came home because it was pouring down rain and I didn't want to get soaked. So I just went out and check it and yes, it came!

It's so pretty Jodie. You are sweet to send it to her. Thank you, I just love it. I'll get a picture of it and post it on here in a minute. I'll take it over tomorrow afternoon when I go to see her.

OK - got the picture. It's a purple satin Hello Kitty nightie with velcro opening so I don't have to fuss with getting it over her head since she's so wobbly right now. I took a pic of the kitty bling that's sewed on the pretty bow too.

Isn't Jodie great?! She made this especially for Tink to help her feel better. We have some of her dresses and they are beautifully made as is this nightie.

I'll put it on her tomorrow. If Barb doesn't mind my taking pics in her house, I'll try to get a pic of her in it. You have to remember that she isn't at her best right now tho.

Thank you so much Jodie for your thoughfulness and for holding us up in prayer.

I'm new to YT, but I've been following Tink's story, and I am so glad to hear that she is doing better. She is such an adorable little girl, and so lucky to have you for a mom! Best wishes to both of you!
