At the risk of sounding ignorant, does your vet do any procedures with laser? I know that it is an easier procedure for things such a de-clawing (and it doesn't remove the knuckle). There was a recent post where someone was talking about an alternative to anesthesia for pets. I wish I could remember who/where it was.........

| So sorry to hear about Codie. Yes, recovery is pretty tough... but it sounds like you have a lot of confidence in the surgeon. ALso sorry to hear about Sammy..... my Shelby just went thru having both her knees operated on 11 days ago... we are in the recovery process right now. Keep us posted on how they are doing. We will be thinking about ya!

I was sick all weekend. Jim went out to buy an air mattress and I stayed home ALL weekend. I was too sick to my stomach to even eat. I'm totally confident in our vet. He's fantastic. I just HATE putting Codie thru anymore surgery ... especially one with such a long, painful recovery period. He's such a good boy and he doesn't deserve this.
