I'm happy (although maybe happy isn't exactly the right word) that I have experience with LP so this time around I pretty much know what to expect. I feel more confident than I did the first time because I already know how much pain it is, how to help Codie go potty, etc. Hubby and I went out Saturday night and bought an air mattress. We're going to sleep in the living room with Codie. He wouldn't be able to sleep on the bed with us in case he fell off -- so at least the air mattress will be low enough so we can all sleep together. Plus, if he gets up in the middle of the night to go potty, I'll feel him move around (I'm a VERY light sleeper) and I will be able to carry him into the other room to the wee wee pads.

My poor baby.
