If you would have seen me on Saturday, you would have thought I was a basket case! I was a wreck. When I first saw Codie limp, I said to myself oh please god, not LP again. When the vet confirmed it, I started crying. Hubby just hugged me and made me sit down. I was so upset that I had to leave the room -- I couldn't even speak. The vet gave us some time and then after I calmed down, we disucussed surgery and worked out all the details. Our vet is just so loving. He was kissing Codie and he kept saying don't worry Jen, I'm going to take good care of Codie.
I was sick all weekend. Jim went out to buy an air mattress and I stayed home ALL weekend. I was too sick to my stomach to even eat.
I'm totally confident in our vet. He's fantastic. I just HATE putting Codie thru anymore surgery ... especially one with such a long, painful recovery period.
He's such a good boy and he doesn't deserve this.
