Oh...that's me! I have to help all of them! This is crazy...there are loads of lady bugs out by us. Well, one of the ones that came into my house is 'hibernating' on my kitchen window (the wooden part) over my sink. I CAN'T make myself move it!! It's been in the same spot for 2 weeks (it's not dead...it's on a vertical surface). What a sicko I am.

You think you're sick? I found a ladybug on my windowsill 2 weeks ago, and it was also 'hibernating'. So I went outside and I got some dirt, grass, leaves and so forth, and now its living in a box on my dresser.

I'm the same way with animals. I remember when I was like 7 or 8 years old, my dad and I were driving somewhere and I saw a dog walking on the street loose. I begged him to stop and pick it up, but he wouldn't because he didn't "want some strange dog with all kinds of diseases in [his] car." Well about 2 days later I was at the corner store in my town, and there was a Lost Dog poster with...you got it...the dog we had just seen. His name was "Jake." I made my dad bring me back by the factories around where we saw him, but I couldn't find him. I don't know if they ever found him, but he's stuck with me to this day!

I know how you feel. A couple of weeks ago I started to notice this mangy stray cat that would hang around my office building. Then one day I noticed that its face looked like it had been half torn off or something. So we called animal control and they came and got it. They said that there was an abscess in its mouth that burst so that's why his face looked so messed up. We told them that if they were going to put the cat to sleep then we wanted them to call us. They said they would 24 hours in advance so we could figure something out.

On another note, the other night I noticed a kitten running under some parked car in front of my house. There are soooo many stray cat's in my neighborhood...it's really sad. About an hour later I left my house and saw something in the street. I pulled over and went to look. It was the poor kitten. He had been hit by a car and left there. I got close to see if it was still alive and if I could help him. Sorry if this is too graphic but literally his eyeball had popped out. I freaked out and felt so bad for him. I didn't really know what to do so I called animal control and left a message. The poor kitty was gone in the morning. I'm not sure if they came and picked him up or someone else did. You should definitely call animal control. They are really there to help.

I'm really not sure what is going on....I had to sit the dishes sort of in front of someones house on the sidewalk, and the only reason I did this is because I had no idea where else to put it I didn't want to put it in the STREET for pete's sake.....so anyway, I'm just hoping that the people who lived in that house didn't get mad or whatever, that there was a food and water dish in front of their house and they picked it up and tossed it I just have no idea

Oh I am so sorry to hear that Can you knock on the door of that house to find out where the dishes went? Just tell them you are coming here to get the cat and was wondering. They gotta know something if the dishes were by their house. I am praying you will find that cat Bless your heart.

Maybe you could knock on their door and ask them if they took the cat in or saw someone else take it.

I wish you much luck in finding this kitty. I know how heartbreaking it is to g through something like this.

My husband and I have taken in so many strays over the years. They've all had happy endings expept one, that I don't even want to think about.

Hey guys...just wanted to do an update...even though nothing has changed I went back over there 4 times last night to try and find that precious little cat, and I couldn't ever find him I also went back today, twice...and still no kitty

I did receive a very, very sweet PM from a YT member yesterday (thank you!) and it made me feel so much better I am just trying to think positive...and I am telling myself that someone got this sweet cat and helped him/her...that is the ONLY thing I can possibly think of since he/she is just no where in sight

I will keep checking over the next few days and will definitely post and let everyone know if anything should change and I do find the cat

I just saw this and am sorry you did not find the poor cat. Also I would just like to say that it is refreshing to know that there are still people out there that care for animals, so thank you for being a good person.
