| Gracie once took out stitches on her back, and they didn't restitch her. This is in a different place so they may want to restitch. Hope everything goes okay for her.

| I'm sure they want to check her incision and see if there is any damage, infection, or if she needs to be restitched. When Lacy was spayed, she seemed to feel fine just a couple days after her spay and I didn't limit her activity. Because she was too active, she tore her internal stitches and had a hernia (no intestines...just fat and omentum). She had to be reopened and restitched. She was kept real still for a week after that. I definitely learned how important it is to limit a dogs activity the week after a spay. Hope your baby's okay

| It looked like a big bump in the middle of her incision...when I touched it, it was soft. You could tell the abdominal muscles weren't tight there and that something soft was coming through them

| Nadia had her surgery a week ago today. I worked up my nerve and touched the lump that is there....it is hard. The skin is normal color and not even pink at all although I don't know about that lump. I think I will call the vet tomorrow!

| If it's just a small little hard bump, it is most likely a reaction to the sutures...it's pretty common. I don't think Lacy had one, but my youngest cat, Sophie, did. I could feel a lump in her abdomen for several months but it's gone now. If you're worried though, take her in and let them look at it.
