When Lacy was spayed, she seemed to feel fine just a couple days after her spay and I didn't limit her activity. Because she was too active, she tore her internal stitches and had a hernia (no intestines...just fat and omentum). She had to be reopened and restitched. She was kept real still for a week after that. I definitely learned how important it is to limit a dogs activity the week after a spay.

I am glad you posted this! I am not happy with the way my Nadia's belly looks like and now I am wondering if she tore her internal stiches??! What did your girl's look like?
