| I talked to the vet hospital again tonight and Lucy seems to be resting comfortably. She is able to lift her head now. She heard her name while the vet tech was talking to me and lifted her head to see what that was about. She is urinating without the catheter, so that's good. It sounds like she will be able to come home tomorrow. I will know for sure in the morning. Thank you all again for all your prayers, candles, well-wishes and support. |

| I am waiting for a call from the vet hospital about Lucy, but the roads are so bad, that even if they want to release her today, I think it's too dangerous to drive to Southfield to pick her up. I want to see her so badly. It's snowing right now. 2-5 MORE inches are expected and driving conditions are hazardous. My daughter called me to warn me. A person she works for lives in Southfield(where Lucy is). He drives to work an hour and a half each day. Today after driving for 40 minutes, he had gotten such a short distance that he turned around and went home. This is the worst winter and the most snow we've had since my children were little. And to think, I was beginning to believe in global warming LOL |

| Great news!!!!!!! Lucy is trying to stand up! She need to be supported, but at least she is trying. That is so much better than when I last saw her. I still don't know if I will be able to go get her today, though. I hate this weather! |

Yayyyyy for Lucy. What a trooper she is. I can only imagine how excited you must be to see her but with the weather being what it is there today I think you should wait. Perhaps it will slow down later in the day and the roads will be safer to travel on. Whatever you deceide be safe. Hugs, | |

| I am so thrilled for you that Lucy has shown so much improvement!!. I will continue to pray for her that she may have a full recovery. Have you asked the surgeon or the vets there about their thoughts on a brace? I would be scared to have a little fragile one at home too -- so glad Val has helped you out with a pattern. I am so sorry that the roads are bad, you're right this winter has been horrid - but I really think we are near the end...Will there be a possibility to get her tomorrow? And if it's still bad tomorrow, will you have to wait until Monday? hugs &prayers for you
