My updates were quick earlier as I was just posting quick updates from the vet school computer lab. I have barely been home today LOL. Finally just got home for tonight and I am thinking about what a great day today was! Little Bleu made it through his surgery!!! Vicki, it was so great meeting you and your family! No, I didn't think you were at all a nut ;) Just another one of us Yorkie Lovers that would do anything we could for our babies. I wish everyone was able to talk to you in person so they could see the love you have for Bleu! I enjoyed seeing pictures of him (he's so adorable!), seeing his favorite sock toy, and hearing all your stories about him. I also enjoyed just chatting about our babies & our lives. I know you were worried sick most of the time we were together, but I hope Cynthia and I were able to help time pass more quickly for you. Waiting and not knowing how he was doing had to be the hardest part. I'm so glad I was there when the doctor came out with that HUGE smile on her face...I can't imagine the relief you felt! I know I was so relieved to hear the good news and hear how well he was doing! Vicki is such a sweet lady. Vicki, please call Cynthia and I so we can see little Bleu in person before he makes his journey back home. I can't wait until he has recovered and we can all go to a meetup together and our babies can play. Today was just such a great day and I can't tell you how happy I am to have met Vicki and to see Bleu doing so well!

My sentiments exactly...it was a pleasure meeting Vicki and her family today. And I can't wait to meet Bleu when he is released. I was happy to be there with her and her family as she waited for the news of Bleu's surgery.

Vicki, I know Michele and I will both be there to see you, your family and precious Bleu off when he is released. And I willl enjoy spending time with you on your furture visits to the clinic during Bleu's recovery. You really are a sweet and kind lady with such love in your eyes for precious Bleu Boy.

Bleu Boy, I will be praying for you for a speedy recovery.

hope your little one is feeling better....I'd have the vet check for a disc or even something in the hip. My doxie Katie did that once and had pulled a muscle in her back. If it is the back that is the problem...this needs watching. Sending healing prayers your way..

Vicki sent me a text just a minute ago that said when Dr. Heitlick opened the lobby door, Bleu ran to them! And he tried to attack a doberman :eek: LOL She hopes to bring him home on Tuesday.

WOW so is he in the cast? he can run in it?

Go Baby Boy go.. I told Vicki that she would not have to worry about him walking after surgery because he would be running and sure enough by the sounds he is running.. What a great happy ending.. Love it just love it..

This entire story is awe inspiring. Bless you sweet little Bleu, you will forever be in my thoughts and prayers. My heart goes out to you Vicki, what an ordeal you have been through. And YT...what can I say, you're wonderful...I do believe in miracles...I truly do.

I guess so :D I haven't actually seen the cast yet. Vicki described it as hard yet soft as well so I'm not sure how it's set up exactly. I'm sure it is hard to keep his head & neck stabilized but soft in places to allow him to move and walk freely too. I'm hoping to get to see him in person before he goes home this week!

WoW I'm so happy that your little yorkie is o.k I just worry sick when it seems like anything is not right with one of my girls. They own such a huge piece of my heart.
