I can say with Babybear he had his surgery 18 months ago and I still treat him like he is a China Doll.. I think with me it is more in my head then anything because If you take a minute and read Babybear's story when we found out he had a problem it was way to late he broke his neck and stopped breathing in front of us..My husband gave him mouth to mouth to get him breathing again.. And then the day I took him for his surgery he turned his neck and again stopped breathing..So he is like a fine China doll in my eyes.. I have come way to far with him to not treat him like this.. And Unlike Bleu Boy being able to walk.. Babybear can not.. He became paralzyed do to his broken neck.. So here you see two different cases.. Other pups that have had this surgery for thier AAI are like brand new Yorkies and rule the rooste..lol They run and play just like normal furkids do.. Believe me I am praying someday i can say Babybear is doing the same..
I hope between Vicki's answer and mine we have shown you two different stories..And two different outcomes..

Wow.....I don't know how I could have missed this thread! I saw your avatar a few times and I honestly thought the cast was a new costume or something which I do not know of. Sorry for that. I only knew the story after reading this thread. I am so happy for you and Little Bleu that everything is going to be okay. For Babybear, I hope you will get well soon and be able to walk and run free. Hugs and kisses from Pao my male yorkie and I.

Oh thank you so much It means so much ! I just am besides myself because Lucy had AAS surgery yesterday and now another Yt member may be facing the same thing...

I dont understand it.. My heart breaks for them.....

Thank you were are so excited but on the other hand saddened because of the new cases with other yorkies!

Lucy is in a great deal of pain and not up yet at all.. this concerns me but Janice her mommy is doing everything in her will power for her care......

I actully am on the road..... :D that is why I do not leave many pictures cause I type so fast and make so many mistakes but I am on road all the time or waiting in a doctors office....PHARMACEUTICALS is what I do basically.

Thanks you are soooo sweet ... and I appreciate your concern I just hope I can be around when you need me that is what scares me so many things go on and I am tied up with one or 2 situations I miss out on everything else..

I normally get to surf at night.... Im sooo busy during the day but I am aware especailly about AAI AAS babies.... It is a passion for Val and I and now Janice Lucys mom....

Hi there everyone,
Just got off the phone with Vicki.. She wanted everyone to know that BLEU BOY HAS NO MORE CAST... Woohoo time for a big party.. Xrays came out great every pin is where it should be and everything is in alinement.... I am so jumping for joy and doing the happy dance.. When I was talking to her she was on her way home.. And Bleu Boy was resting in his momma's lap so peacefully.. Vicki sounds so excited and she so deserves this.. Way to go Bleu Boy and way to Go Vicki for keeping your little guy under controll for 8 weeks.. Super Baby Bleu Boy...You are one little miracle.. Good job..
