| I've seen these but have no clue how to do it. How do you get the different colors and multiple images in one shot.? |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Put your len's on Manual focus Point it at the lights and turn the Len's til it's out of focus. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I pronounce it similar to how Stinky does. I understand the correct way to be Bo- (like "poke") -keh (like "kettle") (link about pronunciation) Wiki info describing yummalicious Bokeh....

IF using point and shoot, you might try "Flower Mode" or "Close Up" mode to get a blurred background....

If you were too close overall for the lens, then the lens wouldn't have been able to find a focus point at all...it would've just kept "hunting" if in AF mode....but I'm not totally sure what happened... Also...if light was just too low, the camera may not be able to focus either, no matter what, so in that case - forced into Manual...which is exactly what you did...

The Len's itself Needs to be in manual mode to where you have to hand focus it. | |

But, like I said...not totally sure this is what's happening - but sure sounds like it based on what happens to me too.
