| Panini Press Bf has been wanting one forever, but I kept saying no bc most are a few hundred dollars. Well we compromised and got a Cuisinart one from Costco that also turns into a griddle. It was $50 and works great. (Saw it at BBB for $90.) We've used it to reheat fast food (actually made it better!), toast bagels, reheat grilled meats (perfect for Asian bbq, we did thit nuong which is bbq Viet pork), quesadillas, and of course actually using it as a panini press. It also has a floating hinge for thicker sandwiches or thick burgers or steaks. Personally I wouldn't cook meat on it from raw, I don't think the temp could get up to what I really would like it, but for reheating, it's perfect. Other than my slow cooker, this is probably one of my favorite appliances we've bought in recent memory that I really love!

| We had a George Foreman back when they first came out. I hated using it bc it was hard to clean. The plates did not come out on the first few models. I think they come out now, but I still never cared for the tilted grilling platform. While that grill was advertised more for grilling meats, I use the panini press more for sandwiches and reheating already grilled meats. Although, there is a drain to catch the fat, the ridges aren't very high. For cooking meats from raw, I have a cast iron grill pan I put on the cooktop that produces excellent grill marks.

| I use the original style George Foreman to make grilled cheese and other sandwiches. It is a bit of a challenge to clean, especially when dad uses it to heat up Hebrew National hot dogs. Would love to have a panini press.

| I think we have the same panini press. We love it, just need to have it out more often and use it! It gets put away and I forget about it, so it hasn't been used lately. We would make sandwiches a lot on it.
