| I LOVE HB eggs! I don't get people who throw away the yolks tho. The whites alone are like chewing rubber I like the yolks a little soft inside yet. Slightly. images.jpeg

| Well, I throw them away if they are all the way cooked through, bc there's just no point then. I like them still runny in the yolk. But if I am making a whole batch for the family I will cook them all the way through. The way I make them the whites are not rubbery. Alton Brown is my hero.

| It is probably a food crime the way I eat my HB eggs - cooked until the yoke is so hard they get that greenish ring on the outside! Good and dry!

How do you make them? I start in cold water with a bit of vinegar in the water and heat to a rolling boil. I let boil for 6-7 minutes then I put a lid on and remove from heat and let sit for 15 minutes.

| Very similar to you! Also start with cold water, and bring to boil with the lid on. After it starts to boil, turn off the heat and let sit for 15 mins. It will be very easy to peel and no grey ring around the yolks. However, if I leave them in the cool all the way down, the green ring appears. What is the purpose of the vinegar? If I do soft boiled eggs, after the water starts to boil, I leave in for 2 mins and take out. Rinse them in cool water until they are handleable, then eat.

| We have hens and you cannot peel a fresh egg after boiling. You have nothing left but the yolk unless someone knows a secret on how to peel a boiled farm fresh egg.

| Years ago when I had goats, I bred Izzabella. After the twins were weaned I had this grand idea to try goat's milk. I just couldn't bring myself to drink it - way too rich. So I had this wild idea to make goat cheese. The only problem was that Izzabella was a Pygmy Dwarf and I could never get enough at one time before it spoiled. I ended up trading the goat's milk to a neighbor for honey. Now I'm wondering if I could make a doggie treat similar to the churpi chews with goat's milk rather than yak milk. I may have to get another nanny. |

| Me too I love cottage cheese and peaches or tomatoes yummy!!! I like ricotta too it is just a creamy kind of cheese you can use for alot of italian receipes like stuffed shells as a filler but if if you want a cheesy taste it is good to add a more rich flavor cheese like provolone also because riccotta is kinda bland
