Mmmmmmm, Sally! My little grain-sugar breakfast already running out and it's hours until lunch. Ohhhh, that sounds so substantial and filling and satisfying!

Do you usually feed Harry around the time of your mealtimes as I do Tibbe(so he doesn't feel too left out!) I don't always do this but if I am having an especially good-smelling meal, I will prepare his dinner also and put it down for him in the kitchen just as I sit down to eat!

Oh yes we do! There's poor Harry eating his meal in the kitchen...and there we are eating our roastie - how unfair...

But it's ok because I'm just waiting for Lila to arrive with my Tiramisu.... x

Isn't it something that we have to see to the baby before we even sit down to eat but that is the reality. It may not even be time for him to eat or I know for a fact he's not hungry as he just ate 2 hours before, but I have to fix him his food also!

Had korean noodle soup but I forget what it's called. It was with a milky colored broth with really soft pieces of tendon in it yum! And you add green onion, salt, pepper, chili paste yourself at the table, and it's served with this vinegar garlic spicy dipping sauce and banchan. So good! Even on a hot day!

Ahi breaded in panko, home made tartar sauce asian style, and home made poke.(raw fish with onions, limu, inamona(kukui nut), sea asparagus, and hawaiian salt)

Oh I love sea asparagus, but limu not too much. I think li,u is the one I don't like, it comes in red too right?

How did you make your asian style tartar sauce? I make home made poke with salmon usually. Very simple with garlic, onion, shoyu, sesame oil, chili oil, scallions, a bit of ponzu, but no inamona here!

Limu is seaweed..I like the regular thin brown ones. Not the fat invasive species that we now have. lol

Asian tartar...Mayo, shoyu, tobasco, and a squeeze of lemon.

The salmon poke you make is my hubbys favorite! But try and add some furikake with all your ingredients. I think you would love it! Very popular here.
