Well it was not a "firm" diagnosis. But they know I am a breeder, and she said what this brings to mind is .... Zoey's thyroid function which was tested almost one year ago was normal. I need to look up to see if it was low normal or nicely in the normal range. There is some incidence of thyroiditis in our breed.

I asked should I just bring her to the Emergency Hospital? And she said well let us do some pre screening tests first. I'm okay with that, as I trust Dr Jack who will see her in between his operations today.

Zoey is not so little lol 90 pounds of Black Russian Terrier. This is serious, I know it and so does this vet.

Thank you so much for your kind words and support. I will update as I know more information.

I have to say this board is the best! I posted on my BRT board there have been ZERO responses!

Zoey is back home with me. small needle aspiration done, blood drawn. dr Jack also is very worried, he thinks it is cancer and not an infection.

We await results.

Oh and to make my day further I drive in driveway their is Magic and Razzle both outside, my sister is looking flummoxed, neighbour has Razzle picked up her husband is blocking Magic from their bloody nippy barky Australian Shepherd. I lose it.
I yell what the hell is going on??? Magic HOME he goes to front porch Woman let's razzle go WTH? cars going by Razzle runs to me, TG. I lecture my sister, she should know better than to allow dogs to go out. I lay it on the line.

Look I say, if Magic our BRT would have bitten that Aussie or heaven help us the folks, Animal Control could and would take him away, if Razzle was bitten he could have died! That is how important it is to keep the dogs in.

Thank God Magic is NOT aggressive, but if that Aussie had attacked Judy or bitten Razzle I just don't know what he would have don

Oh, Lord, girl, you have been through it! What an awful and potentially terrible situation that homecoming was! Glad all okay now. I hope and pray Zoey has a restful evening and your news is the best from the test. Docs are not always right and they see so much bad, sometimes they project pretty easily. I am praying for the best news.

I am so sorry gemy...with the pros right there looking at it, and them knowing Zoeys pmh, I wouldnt dare to venture a guess....but there other things that can enlarge lymph glands....sending prayers and positive vibes for Zoey......

OMGosh, after the stress of the day to come home to that mess! I'd have been flat out in the driveway having heart failure! Keeping Zoey in my prayers.... please be good news!

And the nerve of that BRT forum....Hmppppfffftttt!(sp)

Sry Yorkie what is "pmh"? I certainly hope there are other things that can systemically enlarge all the lymph glands.

kathy thanks. finally now with the BRT forum some responses of support, none as of yet, well it might be this or that.

And I almost had heart failure. Actually given my anger at these neighbours for walking by my house with their Aussies off lead, who run up to our front door, I was really really worried.

I will keep my butt in the house, because right now I am very angry (yeah I know displaced anger), but they need to keep their Aussies on lead!!!!

I had to laugh somewhat, as the woman who I have only ever seen once go out with the Aussies and her hubby on a walk, she looked back at me, and I was looking a her. I placed my hands on my hips and signalled YES????

I have to say I rarely get angry, and there is some release in just letting it all out.

My heart is breaking for you. My vet always reinforced the notion that I should never give up hope. Please know that others really care and understand. I wish I could turn the clock ahead for you and take all of your fears away. You and your beautiful girl are in my heart and prayers.

I'll take a guess... Previous Medical History....

My neighbors always have their Pit Bulls off leash.... they fought with each other so they rehomed one, so now there is one, oh and the one down the street! Makes me crazy! Oh and the Rottie.... I just don't feel safe anymore.
