Please Pray for Zoey

Oh god she is throwing up now. It looks like this mornin's breakie. She is drooling and panting. She is whining; but still breathing okay.

I read about your days with your precious girl and I can't help thinking about my little girl. It is so tough to imagine living through the up's and down's of emotions when dealing with a terminal illness. I am so glad that you have so many supporting you through this. There are times when I just can't read your posts and I skip them for a day or so but always go back and catch up when I have gained some courage. You are such a special mom and Zoey a special girl. I think of your little girl and your family often and pray for strength for all of you. It is so difficult to deal with such an evil disease. You and so many of your friends have shown me ways to cope and stay positive but yet be ready to do what's best. I have been so lucky with my girl and dispute being told to prepare for an early demise she has overcome the odds and has lived beyond all expectations. I pray Zoey beats the odds and like Abby becomes an amazement to her doctor.*

Zoey's illness and your fight to try to heal her has touched so many of our hearts. I'm so sorry that sweet Zoey isn't responding more to the treatment. I know you are clinging on to hope, but it isn't easy, especially since you are so in tune to her health and needs. You sound so tired, and your heart is so heavy; it's so difficult for me to see you this way. My heart and prayers remain with you and your girl.

I hope Zoey can respond to the chemo next week and have many good days with you. My husbands cancerous lymph nodes responded to the second line of chemo within a couple of weeks. The stronger chemo may help Zoey too.

WEll I got her pills into her this am. A bit of cream cheese surrounding her med's. I had a feeling she wouldn't eat her breakie; and she didn't.

Hubby and I have strategized over tomorrow's appt. He will pick her up from the hospital, as I have to work until 7pm and wouldn't be able to get there until 8ish or so.

We are going to try to do a mini bath today for her. We have been using waterless bath shampoo, but truly now she needs more than that. With the two of us working together and she is clipped short, we should be able to be fairly quick with the washing n rinsing.

We are anxious about tomorrow. It seems like so much is at stake.

Please keep positive thoughts and prayers for Zoey today and tomorrow.
