2 Attachment(s) LOL, you have to water them and set them in a sunny area, or an area that gets plenty of light, here are 2 plants that do not need much light. |
The tall one is a snake plant AKA as Mother-in-law-tounge the plant on the books is a Philodendron These are two very good plants that will grow in low light areas. You don't need a "green thumb" for them. |
I have tried with many lol but i don't have the best sunny area for them |
These plants live on low light, they don't need a sunny window or a lot of light. The snake plant AKA as Mother-in-law-tounge, can thrive in a corner of a room. |
my neighbor has a big window and it is full of plants |
I have sky lights in my bathrooms, I hang my plants there for winter and a couple I have hanging in my kitchen window, summers they go outside in shaded area. |
Good morning to everyone :D |
Remember to vote if you haven't already!!! |
I voted :) |
122 days until Spring arrives :) |
So...I did it, my Christmas tree is up and the house is decorated. I usually wait until after Thanksgiving but Winston loves it...and at almost 15 years old, it's all about Winston!!! He checks his stocking daily (nose in the air) as it hangs from a doorknob and he wanders under and around the tree checking for puppy stuff. Let the holidays begin!!! |
Winston seems to know all about his special Santa he has her number lol :D |
Tropical heat wave today, temp to be 48. Maybe it will melt the piles of snow still on my deck from the 9 1/2 inches we got on the 15th  |

it is 37 here this morning and rain |
It's 33 now with rain foretasted, high to be 45, now that's Nov. temps. If I spread the piles of snow around maybe it will melt faster, just haven't been home to try that. |
it has been snowing my neighbors roof has some but not covered |
Last night was horrible here in Illinois...blizzard, snow thunder and probably a foot of snow fell. Wind gusts of 45mph created some snow drifts that aren't going anywhere any time soon. We are still snowed in, hubby managed to shovel a path for Winston to get out to potty...yay!!! I'm thankful a have no where I need to be but home, so that's where I'll stay. How many days until spring??? |
Welcome to winter, I still have snow on my deck from the 9 1/2 inches we got on 11/15, it rained all day and still the snow is there, thankfully it has melted quite a bit, now Cody can look through the lattice at the deer. Aren't you happy you are now retired and do not have to go out lol ;) |
it is 27 here tonight |
This is crazy weather, while you were having mild temps, NE Pa, was under a freeze mode, our temps have finally normaled out, now you are getting what we just finished. And winter has not even started  |
Yes, I am thrilled to be retired and have no where to go!!! We have sunshine today, but it's cold at 19 degrees and a windchill of 6. Single digit real temp tonight...it'll most likely be a negative windchill. But from inside my warm house it looks pretty...there's a whole lot of snow out there. My husband has been chiseling on the drift in the backyard to give Winston more room to roam, it's a work in progress. I'm thinking we will have snow until spring...ah well. |
I retired in the month of Dec. every time it snowed or we had ice storms I would do the happy dance because I didn't have to go out in it lol. |
So now what do you do all day? |
Ah man, the lights on the top half of the Christmas tree won't light up...I'm sad but Winston doesn't seem to care his half still lights up. |
it is very cold here tonight and we are suppose to get snow tomorrow |
