it was suppose to snow here today never seen any and it is 41 degrees |
All week temps in low 40, next Fri. and Sat. to be 70 / 71 then down to low 50's. Looks like Spring arriving at the mountain. |
Snowing hard here. The ground is very white again. Wednsday suppose to be in the 50's Can not wait |

No not usually. The lakes are all still frozen Once the ice goes out the dock people will be way behind as this area grows a lot in the summertime. And everyone wants docks in before Memorial Day. They actually have an old car parked out on the ice and people guess when it will fall through the ice. They have a cable on it and pull it out when it happens. And a clock in it that triggers when it sinks. I am wondering if anyone had guessed this late. Last year it fell in at the end of February. But that was very early. Looking like we may get 10 inches. We have 7 already and still coming down. |
Lol that's cool guessing when that car will break ice and sink. Memorial Day is like the official start of boating season (ex boater here) I hope they are not off to a late boating season, it's short enough without dock delays. Hope you don't get that 10 inches. I have had enough snow this year to last me a life time lol. |
Well forcast is calling for 8 to 12 inches this weekend. I sure hope they are wrong |

Woke up yesterday to a deck covered with 1/2 an inch of SNOW, and, it wasn't in the forecast. Fri supposed to be 76, Sat. supposed to be 74, I may see 70 both days, rest of the week mid to high 46's and 50's. What a miserable Spring. |

12 inches this last weekend and 5 to 8 forecasted for wed We have more snow on the ground then we did all winter ugh |
I don't watch the weather on TV, always check it on computer, last night I had a storm warning flashing, seems storm Xanto is heading our way with 10 to 12 inches of snow possible, warning holding today into Tuesday. I am not worried, the snow will melt. |

Feeling overwhelmed these days...85 more work days and I can retire at 62. Not absolutely positive that I will...but having that option would certainly ease my troubled mind and worn out spirit. So frustrating trying to keep an open mind and positive attitude is getting harder and harder to do. Next week make break me...give me strength. |
Well that's just fantastic, at least you have the option, thing is, at 62 will you be covered by Medicare. |

Spring lol, we went to using heat one day and AC the next day lol, LOVE it , the humming birds have arrived, true sign, Spring is here :) |
I officially signed up for social security....and it was nerve wracking!!! But I' pretty sure I made the right choice. Things are not looking too promising at the office and I'm just so tired of not knowing if or when they will pull our plug. Sad....but I'm looking forward to retirement. |
