We're in for another "wintry mix" 4th one 7 or 8 weeks, calling for 3 to 6 inches of snow & ice. This is getting tiring now....sigh....:mad: |

Another wintry mix going on on the mountain, temp to reach 40 so it won't freeze. Looks like Spring is fighting it's way in, starting tomorrow all week temps to be in the 40's. Time to take the shorts out :bananna::bananna: |

Finally saw a robin. Spring has sprung!!! |
Saturday it was 71 degrees, Sunday 33 and snow showers, no Robin sighting here on the mountain. |
I'm on a quest to lose 20 pounds...wish me luck!!! |

So...I put my snow shovel away today, I hope I didn't jinx myself. It was a beautiful 70 degree day, did some yard clean-up...getting ready for mowing season. |
my yard was mowed thursday for the first time this year april 4th |
Putting my snow blower away today I "think" Spring has arrived :) |
And I saw my first butterfly today...sent a message to loved ones in heaven. |

This is for the birds 1 Attachment(s) I am fighting with Mr and Mrs Wren that insists on building their nest on my outside door light, which means every time I open my front door momma will fly out of the nest and when babies are born they will be hopping out of the nest, so I have been removing her muddy nesting material every day and she screams at me from the branch lol. Then I have Mr and Mrs Chickadee building their nest under the roof at my back door on a beam that's attached to the roof over my back door. I clean off her moss nest while both are screaming at me from the branches lol. No matter what I put there they were building a nest on top of it lil, so I have stuffed and tied bubble wrap to the bean. Running back and fourth to front then back of the house is for the birds!!!!! (right click on pic then click on view image to see pic in upright view) |
