Burrrr, frigid temps, 8AM has warmed up to 3 degrees from 1 at 6AM. Going to be a frigid Valentine day here in the NE, hope you gals get some HOT valentine gifts to warm your hearts.

I just heard a local person has seen robins here and tulips sprouting. Hard to believe...we still have snow on the ground. Maybe, just maybe spring is coming.

Frogs here have already mated, garter snakes are out on the trails, birds are chirping, early Spring for us, time to get the seeds in the ground! :)

Spring may have popped it's head last night as when I let Cody out the air was filled with the fragrance of Pepe-Le_Pew. A sure sign of Spring not far, Have to keep my eye on the bird feeders, hate stinky surprises at night. My tulips and daffodils are buried under 3 feet of snow, be a long tome before I see them.

8AM temp. 11 Degrees, burrrr and I have to leave my house at 9:30 :eek: I HATE the cold.

The negative wind chill kept me from making a 2.5 hour trip (one way) this morning for a work meeting. Actual temp was -14...too dangerous to be out on the road.

iyiyi -14 now that's cold. This coming week they are calling for low to mid 30's, but snow showers. Can't wait for Spring, Cody has big time cabin fever,this boy needs a longggg walk, to cold and to much salt on the roads to walk him. Be careful in this weather.

Winter mix (snow,sleet,rain) starting Sunday, supposed to snow all day turning into sleet, hail then rain, to end at 4 AM Mon.....will winter ever end:confused:

I could use a few good thoughts and prayers. The little clinic I work at is in danger of closing...I am sad and very worried. We work so hard but depend on state funding to survive...and we all know what shape the state of Illinois is in financially. I pray it doesn't happen and worry about the clients that depend on us and also how I'll make it without a steady income. Thoughts and prayers...please and thank you.
