Sorry I missed your birthday little big thread!:( But others remembered so you're still loved. Don't worry!:)

I did the last of my Christmas chopping on-line this morning. So I have only one gift to get for the office Secret Santa. I'll have to go out to a store for that one cause there's no time to get it on-line. It has to be something under $20 that will suit a man of woman. Got any ideas?

OK. It's 12:30 and I'm still sitting here in my robe. Half dressed with no makeup on - not that it matters at my age. But ya know, a gal has to try!:p

Oh, guess what? Winston got a FROG for Christmas! He got a lot for Christmas, you name it, he got it.

Hey Kathy, I am here! I was over on MT posting for awhile.

So Winston got a FROG?! Wait til I tell Tink!

Tink didn't get much this year for Christmas. A new hat, some new boots, I ordered a new bed and blanket from a YTr but I don't know when they'll come. No new toys this year. I was pretty sick and couldn't do any shopping except on-line. I ordered her a little outfit but it didn't fit, sent it back for a bigger size and it still doesn't fit. Oh well, I'll save it for the next YT Gift Exchange.

I'm getting ready for another surgery in a couple of months. Ho hum. I was hoping to wait a couple of years for the next one, but no such luck.

Hi all...I seemed to have rang in the new year with a flu bug...dog gone it any way!!! Feeling some what better today...my head still hurts, but not quite as bad as it did...and I haven't puked all day...whoo-hoo!!! Hope you all had a safe and happy New Year...2009 OMG, I really don't know where the time is going, the older I get...the faster time flies by!!!

Aw, I hope you're feeling better now Kathy. I've had an upper respiratory infection for about a month. It just won't clear up. We had a boring Christmas and New Years, but at least we had each other to hug. ;)

I agree that time flies faster the older you get. One day it will just fly right by us and take us for a ride with it. That sounds like some fun! But not just yet.:p

Thanks for your concern, I am almost feeling normal again...I hope you are as well. With me it started out like an URI...but the headache was unreal, something I've never had before, then it made me nauseous...and I absolutely dread puking, so I found myself not eating...but the appetite slowly improved when the headache eased up. I don't know if it was a migraine or sinus headache...I've never really had either before, and of course I didn't go to a doctor...so we'll never know. Anyway...I slept through New Years Eve and pretty much New Years Day as well.

Aw, sounds like you had a bad one. I used to get migraines - at least once a week, but it's been almost two years since I've had a full-blown one. Some starters, but the meds held them at bay. I'm so glad cause they were making me crazy! But sinus infections can be very painful too. I had one over Thansgiving. :rolleyes:

I'm waiting for the snow to start. We're supposed to get 6-8 inches. Maybe 9. Yesterday they said 5 and this afternoon they increased it. And old man winter is gonna blow like crazy on all of next week I hear - you too! I don't know how cold it will get by you but it could be -15 with -40 wind chill. ACK!!!:(
