I just googled, they arrive in Kentucky Mid April, some come late march, there are 4 species that come to your state.

I have a couple of feeders on my windows, they attach with little suction cup.

Sometimes I feel I should buy a helmet with all the dive bombing and zooming around my head chasing one another lol, I enjoy watching their antics.

LOL, I have 3 feeders on my deck spaced 10 feet apart, one window feeder and 2 feeders in the yard spaced 20 feet apart, yet they all come to one feeder and that\'s when the fighting and chasing begins and my ducking them starts lol.Feisty lil guys lol.

LOL, I gave my tripod away, never used it, it would come in handy now to capture these lil guys zooming and diving above my head lol.

Looks like fall has arrived in the Poconos, morning temp was 39, high to be 52. Yesterday high was 70, naughty Mother Nature.

This week I had two ppl say to me, with all the rain we had this summer does that mean we\'ll have a lot of snow this winter :eek:
Last winter every week we had snow or ice, the worse winter in the 16 years I am living in Pa. And frigid temps.
I am not looking forward to another winter like last year.

My grandaughter is in the Pittsburg area in graduate school until december, hopefully most of the bad weather will miss there...stock up your pantry just in case you get a repeat

I have a 10 cubic foot upright freezer that is always stocked for winter. I always keep 10 one gallon bottled water year round. Always have plenty of kibble for the kid. I also have a stand-by-generator. I am always ready for what ever Mother Nature may throw us lol. Thank you for the tip.
I hope for your daughters sake they don\'t get hit with heavy snow fall, it\'s a bummer if you\'re not use to it.

I am originally from NY, The Bronx, born and raised there, we had snow, but nothing like what I have had since moving to the mountains of Pa. lol.

Sounds like you are set up for winter and that is great. I always have more than enough food and i have backup heat

Beautiful day in Illinois today, the sun is shining, the sky is blue and it hit 60 degrees. I hope this last awhile...like maybe until spring. lol
