Great to be back, ended up with 2 feet of snow on the 3rd, lost power, cable and internet for 4 days. Power came back at 6PM tonight, getting ready for another snow storm coming Wednesday. Did someone send mother nature to the island of the banned?

Aw man, that's really rough...I feel for you. Good to hear your power's back up and running. Enough of winter already, I hope spring is right around the corner for you and the forecast for Wednesday is wrong.

On a good note I saw a robin yesterday!!! It seemed a bit confused and just kind of hung around the same area all day yesterday...was raining here today and I didn't see it any more.

I have a stand by generator, got it installed 2013, first time I had to use it, so I was all comfy till the cable and internet went out lol. Move!!!! lol I am still pinching myself to see if I am dreaming cos I can't believe I moved from my home town of NY to the mountains of Pa. lol, no more moving for me :)

Yes it was a good move. I have always been a country gal at heart, I love country life even if we get these blizzards and Nor'easters, I just bite the bullet lol.

Damm, a neighbor plowed out my driveway late yesterday, I shoveled my entire deck yesterday and it's snowing again. No robins coming anytime soon. Even my bluebirds are hibernating and I haven't seen those pesky squirrels for days.:(

It felt so good to sleep in today. Losing an hour tonight...Monday morning is going to be rough. But at least I won't be driving home in the dark, there's that.

Yesterday morning I was shoveling out the snow from the bed of my pick up, I see a hawk low flying, circling, circling, circling, looking lol, nothing here to eat but snow, not even a crazy squirrel has been seen, Cody sits all day watching for them lol.

Snow stopped around 12 noon, leaving me with 2 1/2 inches, sun is out, driveway has melted, life is good :)
