It saves me money not being to close, I make every trip count for other things as well |
I'll hit them up for some fishing gear and automotive... OH... I just remembered... this year I stopped in for a lot of ice for tuna fishing... rather last year,,,, probably stopped in Walmart about 20 times.. LOL how could I forget that.. |

Wow, I take a few days off and the thread starts bouncing! Great job keeping her alive peeps! Bout froze my tail off this morning feeding the birds! It's quite cold down here today. Not what I'm used to in Wisconsin but cold for central Texas! 20 degrees this morning. Our plants are not used to this. I've lost the Agaves in my front yard and I don't even want to look under the tarp in the back yard where I gathered all my plants when winter started here. :( So how is everyone? Kathy, glad you're over your sick spell. I had one too. Ick! Going to the dentist today. A tooth cracked under a crown so they have to pull it and later I'll have an implant. $$$$$$$ Groan! |
Ouch on the implant...hubby needed these too but we just could not afford it...he has bridges now instead, still expensive and not the best choice, but it is what we could do. I am feeling better, but I still cough a lot...from sinus drainage I guess. It was horrible weather wise here yesterday, last night and still today. I haven't left the house...below zero temps and blowing snow...wind chills are -40's. Did I say I can't wait for spring??? |
Hearing that, I feel lucky to have at freezing or slightly above tonight. It's easy to keep a thread alive when the new guy just wants to ramble.. :rolleyes: |

So I ventured out of the house today, went back to work, the roads were pretty good and not quite as cold, only -15. |

My boss told me today that I have to work Sunday...they're updating our computer system...and we have to run test to go live on Monday. Poop!!! |
