From one Kathy in Illinois to another, you have my support, my thoughts and mostly my prayers. Rely on your memories to get you through the rough spots...and remember your mom would want you to live your life as she has lived hers. Hugs...

This poor thread got hijacked and then starved, so my2boyz was trying to put it out of it's misery.:(

Poor little big thread. You brought lots of YTers joy and friendship. You saved my life one year ago this month. I'll always love you.

No...it shouldn't really die Susie. No one had posted for a while so I thought I'd give it a proper send off rather than let it die all alone...someone should always be there at the end so no one goes out lonely!

Aw, OK Teri. I always kept an eye on it too. It was getting awfully lonely. Maybe it will have a revival now.:)

Oooh...pecan pie...yay! Yes, thank you...I'll have a slice warmed up with some caramel drizzled over the top and a cup of hot Folger's coffee please. Oh wait...I better go eat breakfast first...hold that pie for my afternoon coffee break would ya?!

Hello! What's everyone up to today??? I'm doing laundry...boxing up the small things in my apartment... the manager is going to have a flooring company put ceramic tile down throughout the entire apt. there's this smell in here and it drives me crazy. and i think it's making me and mom sick.
so anyways.... i'll catch you later

OK, I made the pie and it's cooling. I don't have any caramel to drizzle over the top but I've got Folgers coffee. I have to go the the grocers in a minute so I'll pick up some caramel topping. :D

I washed Tink's crate bedding this morning. Her pillow is always too fluffy after it's washed so the gets in there and rolls on it and hops up and down like a bunny until it's the way she likes it. Wish I'd taken pics, next time I will.

Tile throughout the whole apt? Wow! I would love that - a little chilly on the tootsies, but so much easier to clean. Wonder if I can talk my complex into doing that next time they replace carpet. It would be so much easier to get a wheelchair around on tile!

Susie...thanks for the pecan pie and the caramel...you're too sweet! Oh, and nothing beats a good cup of Folger's coffee!

Tils floors are great and now you can install copper heating wires underneath a new floor so it keeps the tile toasty warm.

I'm going to post some new pictures of the girls.....

Hey Judy! This was a long weekend for me. Bitter cold here and had to be out in it getting to rehearsals and singing.

Tink's soooo cold she actually got under the throw with me in the rocker. She never goes under blankies or the covers. She's wearing jammies all day today cause they're keeping her warmer than just a sweatshirt.

There's pie left - want some?

I'd love pie!!!! Thought you'd never ask! And...Bernie wants Tink to check out his photoshoot.:)

It's cold here too. One of our furnaces died last week. Thankfully we have one upstairs and one downstairs. The downstairs one broke. Guess where I am???:D Ginger and Bernie are snuggled close, my little fur-naces. Ginger is the undercover furnace, and Bernie is the overcover furnace. He totally gets why Tink doesn't like it under the covers!!!

Hello Everyone!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!! I just woke up from a nap ( i was long overdue for a good nap)! I'm waiting by the phone to see if their going to let mom come home from the hospital today or what their planning on doing. So I'm just hanging out on YT trying to get caught up since I haven't been on in a while..

Hope your mom got to come home. I imagine she'd rather be home than in the hospital.
