Well; while I was helping chris hold Tink to shave her ears, another girl cut the spaniels fur. It was 6 inches thick! She had to use a special tool to cut the whole coat off! IT was so sad. The dog started crying and Chris said it was because it hadn't been cool and comfortable for so long. It's poor skin was sloughing. When they were done, Chris put her on the scale and she was 24 lbs. 28 lbs of fur they cut off. It didn't look lie the same dog. Poor thing walked so funny without all that fur.

That is incredible and so sad! That poor dog! Really hasn't had a life!! Poor baby.

And yea, you did scare me away about the harnesses. Think I will have to go with the silk step in harness!

Good afternoon Thread and anyone viewing.

We had a very busy but good morning. I'm proud of myself! I got signed off to run sanctuary sound by myself. I've been running the recording sound for our TV show for about a year and 1/2 but not sanctuary which is way different. So, now I can do both. Which means they'll be asking me to do alot of things that are extracurricular - but that's OK. God gave me the talent and brain so the least I can do is use it for Him too.

Tink has taken the tape off of her ears 3 times since I got home at 1:30. This is going to be alot of work! I'm getting quite annoyed with her. Guess I'll have to find a means to keep my resolve and not be upset with her for disagreeing with me. Kind of like having a toddler or a teenager around!

I'm at my wit's end with Dan and his stuff!!!

My kitchen counters, dining table, and coffee table is just PILED with his work stuff!

I'm not allowed to touch any thing or else he can't find what he needs (he's not a folder guy, he's a pile guy). I've asked him to please clean up but nope! He left on a business trip and won't be back for a week.

I hate coming home to the "mess" and do not want any visitors because I'm so embrassed!

He has a "Home Office" but that's up stairs and is another "off limits" space.

I know how he is. Been married for 15 years but I just had to vent!

Phooey on him! He's a naughty boy and he should not get any home cookin' for one week and no dessert for 2. Guys are so frustrating with their piles of stuff. It's impossible to keep a pretty house with all that!

You could try moving the piles into boxes - one for each file just exactly as they are on the counters.

Do you want to be mad at him because he's being a slob, or have him be mad at you because you want him to be neat. 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.

I don't blame you one little bit. My husband used to keep a pile just next to the stove and it freeked me out. I was so afraid of a fire and all his stuff got greasy from cooking. It was just nasty. I was always asking why he couldn't keep it in his office. His answer? "Because I want it here!"

Sounds like your hubby has more than just one little pile though. I would be VERY frustrated with him.

My dad used to have piles of random stuff lying around...my dad keeps EVERYTHING! ONe day, my mom decided she had had enough of the piles and she started throwing things out one at a time to where my dad wouldn't notice it was gone.
