The poor thing was white around the muzzle, she weighed 52 lbs on the scale. She was as wide as she was long. She wanted to play with Tink so bad  Well; while I was helping chris hold Tink to shave her ears, another girl cut the spaniels fur. It was 6 inches thick! She had to use a special tool to cut the whole coat off! IT was so sad. The dog started crying and Chris said it was because it hadn't been cool and comfortable for so long. It's poor skin was sloughing. When they were done, Chris put her on the scale and she was 24 lbs. 28 lbs of fur they cut off. It didn't look lie the same dog. Poor thing walked so funny without all that fur. |
That is incredible and so sad! That poor dog! Really hasn't had a life!! Poor baby.
And yea, you did scare me away about the harnesses. Think I will have to go with the silk step in harness!
