I got some Tilapia Fillets today at Walmart and the packages had different recipes on them. One package had a recipe for West Coast Fish Taco's...must be a West Coast thing then. I bet they are good! Shoot me a recipe if you have one!!! Is the fish flaked or in the taco as a fillet? What are the seasonings? Help a southern gal out!!!

We eat at Cracker Barrell at least once a week! The grease at Long John Silver's and Captain D's makes me feel really queasy so we don't eat there very often. Super Sonic Cheeseburgers are the BOMB!!! MG...I love those things!!!

Makes my tongue wanna slap my eyeballs out! That really looks yummy!!! Have you ever had them with grilled fish? Wonder how that would be! I am gonna try those and soon!!! Thank you so much for sharing that with me! What kind of fish do you use? I don't know if we can find shark around here...who knows...I might start a new southern trend around my house...I showed hubby the pic after he turned up his nose to the idea...he said they looked good and would try them!!!

I use Talipia (sp?), Cod and Halibut. Those are my favs to use. It is really good. Let me know what you think when you cook it.

Yeah...the Tilapia was what I bought today. It may be a couple of weeks before I cook it tho. We are starting a Candida Cleanse tomorrow and can't have anything with white or wheat flour...along with a ton of other food we can't eat for two weeks! I don't know if I can make it thru this or not! We are trying anything to get hubby over this Type II Diabetes crap! The cleanse is part of a 30 day plan for weightloss that we are gonna try. It started today with drinking a ton of water, walking for a solid hour this evening and not having a bite to eat after 6:30! I am excited to see if this works. Excpet for during the cleanse, you don't have to do without too much...if you want it, eat it. I will be the guinnea pig!

It was a book on tape we have had since January, just never listed to it. Kevin Trudeau "Lose 30 Pounds in 30 Days". I would like to lose 20 pounds...we will see if I can do it. If Dewaine could lose 20 pounds, his Diabetes might just be a thing of the past!

Wow I would like to know how that works. I have been on WW for almost a year now and am now a regular taker of Meridia which is helping wonderfully with my weight loss. I lose about 3-5.5 lbs. per week on it. I'd like to know how this program will work for you and your husband.

On a side note, where bouts in Alabama are you? My husband is from there as well as all of my in laws who live in Alexandria.

I will PM you the notes I took while listening to the CD. Basically it is drink a glass of water as soon as you get up in the morning. Eat a big healthy breakfast - it gets your metabolism going. Drink lots of water all day long to flush the toxins out of your system. Avoid unnatural additives in food - eat as much organic as you can. Eat a big salad with lunch & dinner. Eat apples and grapefruit throughout the day. Don't eat your evening meal after 6:30 if you can help it and no snacks whatsoever after that evening meal. You also walk for 1 hour straight thru once a day without stopping outside if you can...fresh air does you good. And you need to do a Candida Yeast Cleanse, a Colon Cleanse and a Liver Cleanse. I will send you the notes tomorrow!

I forgot to answer your 2nd question! We are in the very northwest corner of Alabama near Muscle Shoals and Florence. If you guys ever get to come back this way, look us up!
