And on top of everything I believe that sometimes people say thing just to get a rile out of others. Maybe they're trying to get the heat from them on something different or just trying to see people angry at each other...

Like when people have been members for a while and only have a handful of posts, then you look at the posts they DO have and they all seem to be in very controversial threads, just stirring the pot!

I agree, I usually try to say "imo" or just my thoughts because that is what they are "my thoughts and opinions". There is a tactful way to express your thoughts and opinions without insulting anyone. If something upsets you and makes you angry...step back........then place your answer after you've calmed down. If you can't calm down...........don't reply

1. Breeding:
If you ask a question or are considering or forbid your dog is pregnant you get freaking chewed for it! WHY??????? Who has given everyone the right to ridicule someone else for their personal business.....

It has gotten so bad that a lot of people are afraid to say anything and in turn this really diminishes the HELP that anyone can get from this board! Yes i know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but Geeze lets have a little class and tact when we do it.

If someone wants to breed their dog WHO CARES!!! it's their dog their choice..

If someone wants a 2 lb teacup WHO CARES!!! it's their dog their choice..

if someone wants to buy from one vender,
if someone doesn't like some treats, WHO CARES!!! it's their dog their choice..

I think everyone should really sit and think about where you would be without YT right now how many have had life changing benifits from being here and being able to learn.. I for one am thankful fore this site and the people here but if it keeps going this way there will be no good info to learn from because everyone will be to afraid to ask it

O totaly agree with you 100%!!! I was one of 3 being chewed for loving chocolates...soooo...I posted a thread on here last night just to see if I could still get any help..guess what?!?!?! NOT THE FIRST RESPONSE!!! YT has turned into something that alot of us dont want to be any part of anymore and it seems to be the same few that are attacking everyone. If I get bashed for this OH WELL, theres only one person who can judge me and i can tell you he sure aint no member on this board!!

Y'all should get on this other forum I was on for a year and a half before I discovered yorkietalk. Terrificpets.com You think people here are rude??? OMG people there are just Mean and Rude sometimes. And no getting suspended unless you're a newbie or violated the rules somehow. Of course, on that site there is no advertising or talking about specific breeders either so it's a little different. When I came to yorkietalk I was like OMG everyone is so nice...I thought it was kindof strange at first LOL.

I know it's not as bad as some other sites but if we don't keep a handle on it and make it unacceptable it will be soon!

So you got a bunch of responses that you didn't want, which was the wrong thing to do. So you posted again and didn't get any responses, and that was wrong too?

So...if people post their opinions, that's wrong, but if they bite their tounge, that's wrong too.

What should be the correct way to handle it then?

Does that make sense? Not trying to argue...I just see that logic being encouraged and I don't see how both can happen at the same time and am using your example.

If someone comes on here posting that their 3 lb girl had an accident and they need help because she's expecting...and everyone bites their tounge to keep from hurting feelings, then why would it be a shock if there were not alot of responses?

I don't think anyone should not post their feelings and opinions i just think they should think before they say rude comments that will hurt another persons feelings.

I was on there before I came on YT, too. Someone asked about about where to a dog from, other than a breeder and ask her why not do your research in your area because if she couldn't do a seach locally then why try online?!? then they went to ask how old was she and why she was even on there if he can't spell right or do her punctuation right... I told them they were being rude about it and then they said I was new and don't know the rules... That didn't have anything to do with it so I just left.... Oh well, their lost (they would have been lucky to have me )
