I would have canceled my cruise. The hurricane is south of us but close enough to be effecting our weather as well. Any change is its path can effect us as well. Its all over the news here. I think we will be in the clear on Sunday or Monday.

My exact same thoughts! I'm outa here if it comes in at more than a 1. The warm waters of the Gulf will only make it stronger.

Still too early to determine the path, but more than likely, with the bands extending as they are, we will get something.

My dream one day has always been to live on the beach, but after the past few years, I don't know how you guys do it...even a few miles away, I would be a nervous wreck, please please just make sure everyone of you and your babies are safe, don't take no chances....

Even if it misses us, you know we're going to get tons of rain and that's the LAST thing we need! I have standing water in my backyard as it is!!

Send it up her Kimberly, we need it bad I think we are like 11 or 12 inches behind this year, I don't think its really rain here in months....funny how you have to much and we have none...

The stress of this storm is working on my body. My shoulders are so tensed and in knots right now I could scream!

Here is the project path...which looks like it'll miss us...just the rain.

I know how your all feeling since I lived in FL. for 7 years and went thru a few of those. Please stay safe and get out of there if you see it's going to even come close. Those things pack a whallop.

I have mentioned before that I work for a Lumber Company and we've already got extra shippments rolling tomorrow of plywood, generators and all. Rita was a wake up call and here on the coast we will prepare for the worst. At a cat 3 it is already the strength Rita was when it hit..and this thing has DAYS to grow. Kind of makes the ol butt puck just thinking about it.

after sweating through Katrina and Rita, we will sweat it out again.. .we had friends from New Orleans evacutae to our house.. we are already making plans for them again.. our city has never been the same since Katrina and OH we dont need to play again!!!!
