I really hate the sound of an owl when it is calling. It totally sends chills down my spine. So creepy.

I also have a thing with the girl from the ring that came out of the T.V. I have to tell the story when that movie had came out not too long before this and we had just moved into a new house. My son was just 6mo old or so and he would get up in the middle of the night for feeding and I would go to the living room and sit in the rocker and feed him and rock him back to sleep. Well one night he got up about 2 in the morning and I went in and got him and went to the living room and just as I walked beside the T.V. to go to the chair, it all of a sudden turned on and instead of being on a channel, it was the snowy white picture and really loud. I immediately turned to gripe at my husband for following me and turning the T.V. on but when I turned to say something to him....there was no one there. I turned it off and took my son to my bed and needless to say, I never from that night on went to the living room with him anymore! I always felt like I was not alone in that house and luckily we don't live there anymore.

I'm TERRIFIED of MICE running free and the OCEAN, just the name "ocean" freaks me out. I always say, "never go over any amount of water you can't drink ". There are all kinds of crazy things in the ocean, I live in California and I cannot drive over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, I'v tried I just can't do it my hands start sweating so bad, heart started beating so hard and I grip the steering wheel so tight that I had to pull over and let my bf drive before I actually got on the bridge.

As for mice if I seen one running around anywhere whether its the house, yard, pet store, etc.. I will jump on something (I don't care what it is) until it gets caught, I will not get down for the life of me . I remember once when I was young I was at home alone and I seen a little mouse run in my closet do you know I stayed on my bed for 5 hours until my dad got home to catch that darn thing, my eye's where glued to the closet door seeing if it was going to come out

My biggest fear is of falling...can not...will not...climb a ladder, not even a step stool.
It is not heights, cuz I can go in tall buildings and such, but the thought of falling nearly kills me.
But my craziest fear is of little gray pigs, any other color is ok...just gray ones, and this stems from a childhood nightmare...don't ask...it scares me to even talk about it!!!

I am afraid of someone hiding under my bed and when I turn the lights off to get in bed, he/she will reach out and grab me by the ankle (or when I get up to go to the bathroom). You should see me, I can leap tall buildings with the jump I take to get into bed so that I dont have to step right beside the bed.

And this is precisely the reason that I NOW have a bed with only a 6 inch space between it and the floor. Even though I KNOW no one can physically get under there, I still have a fleeting thrill when I step next to the bed in the dark.

Well, since you don't want to hear about the usual stuff...spiders, heights, etc., then I won't tell you about them...but I HATE THEM!

I don't know if you mentioned you didn't want to hear about snakes so I'll tell you...if they're not in a cage, I will run like the wind blows screaming like my hair's on fire. Broke a cigarette once while running from a snake that I almost stepped on.

I get sick thinking of needles. If I have to have blood drawn for anything, I request the butterfly needle and even then I feel like I'm going to throw up and pass out at the same time.

I get dizzy when driving over those narrow long bridges which is probably not a good thing for on coming traffic.

If something is flying around and dodging at my head, I run screaming. Those nasty geckos...all transparent with their fat lumpy tails, I cringe.

HATE clowns...geez, thanks for The Poltergeist.

Those bugs that are long and look like centepedes but have shorter bodes (and not as many tails) and have those pinchers on the back...YUCK!

I got out of the tub one day and put on my terry cloth robe and there was a field mouse in the sleeve. So I was screaming bloody murder up on the counter naked as a jaybird. Don't do well with terry cloth robes now, either.

OMG I am SOOOO with you on that balloon phobia! I will run the other direction if anyone dares come near me with a balloon. And the WORST WORST WORST thing I can possibly imagine and makes me shudder just thinking about it is a SMALL CHILD HOLDING A BALLOON AND SQUEEZING IT. Ack! *shudder*

My other fear is completely irrational and I'm probably alone on this: Spontaneous Human Combustion. It's a wierd phenomenon where people spontaneously burst into flames and burn to ashes (usually leaving a foot or something behind - yuck!) but everything around them including the bed they were laying in is untouched. Creepy!!!! Google it and you'll see what I mean.

LOL!!... I used to think that too!...I'd kinda leap for the bed...or I'd crouch down in the hall then look under the bed..that way I'd have a head start out the door..When my DH worked third shift for a short time, I was alone at night & I was so scared someone would come up the stairs, so I'd think of how I'd escape ..I kept thinking I'd have to leap go over the balcony but I had to keep a mental note not to land on the sidewalk or the hose winder...the mind can drive ya crazy at times....

LOL glad i'm not the only one who makes escape plans in my mind when home alone. i'm always thinking "what if someone comes in the house", "what if the house catches on fire", "what do i take with me on the way out", "where do i go", "what if that door is blocked", "what if they hear me".... my imagination runs away from me sometimes...
