| I have been on Slim Fast for a week and a half and I have gained 2 pounds... . I don't understand. I have not drank a coke (which is my biggest down fall) in over 2 weeks. I have not had fast food in 2 weeks. I do not understand. |

| I was always told that you have to "eat" to lose weight....meaning, that you need to eat healthy foods that nourish your body. I was told that if you don't eat or just eat certain things, your body holds on to all the "bad" stuff that it has. I don't know....I read that you should do the shakes because you are not getting the nutrients/vitamins/etc that you need. I think it was on Racheal Rays show where she had a doctor come in and was talking about diets that are out there......they were talking about the shakes and the strict no carbs and some diet pills. Saying that the strict no carbs can actually cause other problems, like clogged arteries, heart attacks, strokes, etc. and that some diet pills on the market have so many chemicals (even some from doctors) that will actually eat away your tissue and insides...causing bleeding, etc. YIKES! So, what is one to do??? I guess just eat healthy and exercise, but that seems to hard to do these days. I know a friend that lost weight just eating wheat crackers and water, after she lost weight, she maintained it by excercising and eating healthy...course, I know that can't be good for you....and everyone is different....but it almost makes me want to try it! I guess....I am always looking for that quick fix.....my thinking is that if I can lose some weight first, to get me motivated and get more energy....that would be better! HA!

| Jenn you are right about eating to loose weight. I think that is why weight watchers works so good. If you are not getting enough calories your body will think you are starving and try to hold on to the fat to survive. I have tried EVERYTHING. The only thing that really worked was doing weight watchers and working out. I joined a health club last year and I lost some weight but I lost ALOT of inches. Since then I have put back most of the weight because I stopped doing the right stuff. I re-newed my contract to the gym yesterday and at 0600 this morning I was back in the gym. Here are some before and after pics, can you believe the difference 2 months made-I did work my butt off. |

| Yorkie Yakker | Hi, I have not tried any wait loss programs, but I asked my Doc. for help. She helped me figure how many calories I needed and gave me a walking plan. It start with walking 10 or 15 mins. a day. Now I'm up to an hour and run about 15 mins. or so. she also has me on phentermine. It really really really helps, but you still need to walk or something. I have to go in every 30 days for a check-up. It's about $40, my ins. doesn't cover it. Hope this might help you. Good luck!!!!! It's hard work, but you can do it!!!!!!! ( Also I really didn't like walking that much to start, but I enjoy now, I not only look better but feel so much better!)

| i was thinking about doing lindora, but it is just way to expensive for me.. but what i do at the gym, my routine is split into 4 days.. i also do high intensity interval training. i lift heavy weights and i have gotten great results when i first started working out (had lost 7 pounds in two weeks).. then i went back to work, had post partum depression, gained it all back +10.. so here i am at square one, lacking motivation.. i'm hoping i can find it here. I tried weight watchers, but i cannot keep up with my points, i was doing well for the first month, losing 3 lbs, but now.. i just have no time to jot down what i eat.. or the points.. i don't know if i should do la weight loss or nutrisystems.. i've GOT to get rid of this baby fat before the summer! |

| My college roommate lost a good deal of weight through LA Weight Loss and moderate exercise. I always remember her weighing her food and when we would drink on the weekends she would always have tonic water and vodka. LOL. But she had a positive experience with it. Good luck with your weight loss and keep up the positive attitude. People tend to underestimate the power of positive thought sometimes!!

| Thank you so much for all the comments you guys KEEP THEM COMING! So far I have lost 5 lbs I really want to do some exercise with it at least walking or maybe even Curves but don't have money growing on trees for the Curves (LOL) and no time for the walking.....maybe someday Basically the diet program so far (this is my 5th day) is teaching me how to eat, what to buy when I'm going to the grocery stores, water intake ect. The only thing that I will ask NOT to take is the LA Bars with my busy schedule now I really don't have time to fit them in nonetheless fit in all my foods & snacks so the Bars are worthless to me right now and I can't find myself spending $32 a week on bars that I am not going to use so hopefully they don't make you buy the bars I guess I will see when I go in tomorrow....but so far so good.WILL KEEP EVERYONE UPDATED ON MY PROGRESS! THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE MODIVATION!
