My belly feels like jelly........simply, there was way too much weight lost and it's like a deflated balloon :(

All the other parts usually go back to place ;) Please don't get discouraged. I am not a mother yet, but plan on having starting a family this year. I was contemplating getting an abdominoplasty (skin removal) but I am way to scared of surgery..........I can live with my loose belly ;)

OK...I am in...I have been debating doing this and thought what the heck...might as well, what have I got to lose? How about 25 - 30 pounds! I start tomorrow...wish me luck! All my life, I NEVER had to watch what I ate...then around 30, the pounds started sneaking on. I lost down to a size 4 about 5 years ago with Metabolife (ephedra) but as soon as I stopped taking it the pounds came back and they brought their nasty little friends with them (extra pounds). I have cut processed sugar out of my diet already, so I am o.k. there...it is the other sugar that is already in food that I have to eliminate...hunger is not an issue for me...I FORGET to eat as it is now...and even with not eating, the pounds keep coming. So tomorrow is the day...I need to go weigh and take a before picture...arghhh!!! I have really enjoyed this thread! Keep up the good work ladies!!!:thumbup: Oh and my hubby is a type 2 Diabetic and has lost a good 30 pounds watching what he eats...his disease is almost under control but the side effects of Diabetes have really wrecked his body...I wish we had known then what we know now about the food we put into our mouths.:(

I'm not doing so well right now. I've been sick this whole weekend. So I've been cheating a bit but not too bad. I'll make myself be very strict starting tomorrow.

Got a question..Sugar Free French Vanilla Coffee Creamer...it is non-dairy - net carb 1 per serving...is it allowed during the first two weeks...or just Splenda?

I think you can but in my experience I was totally addicted to that stuff and I was putting in way too much and I realized I needed to stop using it. So I bought a little carton of heavy cream and you just have to put a tablespoon to get it real creamy and it's 1 gram as well. So that keeps me from having 5 grams in my coffee :p In the atkins book it does allow heavy cream.

I do that too! :eek: Use way, way too much! But tomorrow I am gonna measure it and instead of drinking the pot til it is gone, just drink a cup or two to ward off the headache...the rest of the day will be the dreaded water! I HATE water!!! I saw that it allowed heavy cream so this should be o.k. It is sweetened with Splenda and I swear I can't tell the difference in that and the regular French Vanilla! Okie dokie...thanks for the help! :D

I tried to measure too. Boy was I suprised how much I actually put in there!!! :eek:

So I started putting a tablespoon or two of the french vanilla and a packet of splenda to help make it sweeter and that was ok. But I really do like just the plain heavy cream with splenda. It seems creamier. I look forward to my morning and afternoon cup. I don't go through it as fast either so it saves me money too.

Yeah I had mine with the serving size this morning - 1 tablespoon...that is not enough to color the coffee! :eek: I will finish this bottle and go to the cream and Splenda...ok...off to have eggs...and we begin!

I must be doing something wrong.I still have only lost only 1 pound!! I guess I need to change something up.
I think I should have lost altleast 3 pounds by now.

I am keeping a journal too...of everything I put in my mouth. I am measuring so I can keep track of the carbs...hopefully. I am also taking Evening Primrose Oil & Flaxseed Oil Capsules...any of you take supplements? Will they affect induction in a negative way...should I wait to take them? I also need to start back on Magnesium...it is really good for your heart and digestive system.

Ok, so I did the 2 weeks :) Now my husband and I are just going to eat better and watch what we eat. We are going to watch fat and calories and start exercising. I think If I look at another piece of meat right now I'm going to puke! :D

I'm having Rasin Bran for lunch today :)

I am taking centrum, a basic multivitamin but I wish the atkins vitamins and supplements were still available. I really liked them. I have yet to find another multisupplement that has all the same ingredients to support insulin levels and weightloss

Get off the scale! LOL I really need to make myself stay away from it. I get discouraged.

Have you been eating any of the processed foods like the bars or tortillas? I was and recently read that they actually can stall weight loss:( So I\'m backing away from them.
