Thanks! :D Its really hard though, basically you have a shake/flapjack for breakfast, one for lunch and one for dinner. You have to drink at least 3 litres of water a day - cant eat a single thing and can only drink black tea and black coffee. HEadaches and craving are bad for the first 4 days or so but after that its fine, your not hungry, not really any cravings. Its the same as Atkins where it puts you into Ketosis for rapid weight loss. |
So how long do you keep that up? I couldn't go without eating. |

With the talk about drinking water and the recent death of the radio station contestant who died from drinking to much water. I WANTED TO POST THIS FOR ALL TO READ. Dieters can also get bad advice that they need to drink, drink, drink - and may end up drinking to excess. If you are starting a new diet, let your body and thirst be your guide. Your body really does know how much fluid it needs, and it lets you know by being thirsty - but switch to non-caffeinated drinks such as water. If your urine is dark yellow during the day, you probably need to drink more non-caffeinated liquids such as water. If you find you are drinking so much that you are racing to the bathroom continuously and your urine is so pale it doesn't even look yellow anymore, back off on drinking so much. I often listen to this station. I don't think they allowed her to pee, atleast that is what I've been hearing. It's a very sad situation.. |
ACTUALLY GOING TO THE BATHROOM WOULD HAVE MADE IT WORSE. They may further dilute their blood sodium by continuing to drink large amounts of water and losing further sodium through urination. |

Hey girls...I have been out of pocket a couple of days...lost 4 pounds this week...last couple of days, I did not drink as much water and did not lose anymore weight. I have always heard that if you feel thirsty, your body is already dehydrated...I am drinking four .5 litre bottles a day...plus my coffee in the morning and sometimes tea during the day with a meal. |
