| Have you tried heating pads? When I have really bad cramps (it runs in my family) I put a heating pad on the front lower abdomen area and take some motrin. It usually helps a lot! They also have those new pads that you stick on your skin that act as a heating pad that are specifically for cramps if you're at work/school/shopping and can't sit there with a plug-in heating pad. I've seen them next to the feminie care items at the grocery store.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Ibuprofin........ I have 800's. When those are gone I usually take 3 to 4 of the regular ones. Usually only for one day though is all I need them for. I HATE it! |

| you can find a heating pad in a drug store or walmarts... I have tried them, + everything else... But the aleve has a herb in it that really helps.. Just dont take the aleve if you have asthma...I am not sure why.. My friend has it and cant take the aleve bc of it...I think there is something in it that set it off... but I am not sure |

| i understand completely! i am also on the pill.. which they SAY will help with cramps.. but i have yet to see it! baths feel great for me... or just a hot shower... i'm usually out of it for a day.. just on the couch.. but with school now that is a bit difficult! have you tried skipping the last week of your pill (the fake row) so that you don't get your period that month?? i know for me there are some months where i have so much going on.. cramps on top of it all just wouldn't work... so i skip my period for the month and just go right on the to the next pack. hope you are feeling better! |
