what is wrong with daycares?????? they are aweful !!!!!! i had to put my 2cents in.

So how is Savannah doing? I hope she is better. Isn't it odd that a 3 year old would have a uriniary tract infection? Since this seems to be a chronic issue with your tiny little one, I would see about an appointment with a uroligist.

Yes. Thats why hes running tests when she feels a little better!

We are still hanging on. SHe got sick last night and this morning but shes perky alittle right now. The day will tell. I really hope she doesnt get another high fever or it's off to the hospital for us! Please keep us in your prayers!

Sorry to hear your girl is ill. If you have a good vet, I'm sure he'll take care of her. Try using a syringe to get her to drink if she won't drink on her own.

Savannah is a three year old girl (human)

, but, of course, pushing fluids is always a good idea! LOL

For fever a tepid bath usually works when the Tylenol doesn't. The more I read this, I think you should be seeing another doctor - The fever makes me think she has an infection. Is she on antibiotics at least? The advice of waiting until she feels better than we'll do tests to see what is wrong, just doesn't sound right, especially with a baby.

She has an infection. A bad kidney infection.

Shes on an antibiotic. Shes doing better so i think everything is in the clear. To early in the day yet. She starts going down hill in the afternoon so we'll see. Dr. Waters is a wonderful dr. He just didnt want to add to more stress on her yesterday. poking and prodding on a very sick throwing up child in my opinion is stupid. If it's out of his league hell send me to a different hospital! Her dr before him is the quack....he gave her kaopectate and sent her home!

Jeez...i just read this. I hope you dont read it as im yelling at you!!

Glad she's on antibiotics - No offense taken I have children so I know how stressed out you can get when they're ill. Lucky, mine are grown now, but my first granddaughter was just born August 2nd - so all the worry starts again!

Ia am just so damn upset. Savannah I thought was doing ok...and than her 103 friggin fever comes back and she has the chills and will hardly drink anything!!

I am sooo damn tired of this. I called the dr and will be calling me back. They are doing something today I dont give a crap what!!! Im so mad I could friggin scream and cry both. Sorry I just had to vent!

holy crap!!!! ughhhhh!!! i wish i could say something to make you feel better but there is nothing. i just want to let you know i am still praying for your daughter. i feel so bad for her. poor little thing. i just want to scream for you. please give us updates. i hope they will send her to someone else

WELL!!!!!!

SInce she's peed some today their holding off...

I want to scream at them and say..oh ok..so the high fever isnt enough and shaking and all that...you want her to be completely drained before you do anything!!!

Im so friggin mad right now.....I live in a small town so if I took her to the er they would just call the dr and they would send her home. He did say though if she hasnt peed by 9:30-10:30 pm tonight than bring her up there....ARGGGGGGG!!!!!
