For fever a tepid bath usually works when the Tylenol doesn't. The more I read this, I think you should be seeing another doctor - The fever makes me think she has an infection. Is she on antibiotics at least? The advice of waiting until she feels better than we'll do tests to see what is wrong, just doesn't sound right, especially with a baby. |
She has an infection. A bad kidney infection.
Shes on an antibiotic. Shes doing better so i think everything is in the clear. To early in the day yet. She starts going down hill in the afternoon so we'll see. Dr. Waters is a wonderful dr. He just didnt want to add to more stress on her yesterday. poking and prodding on a very sick throwing up child in my opinion is stupid. If it's out of his league hell send me to a different hospital! Her dr before him is the quack....he gave her kaopectate and sent her home!
