| I wish I could have the surgery. However, my eye Dr. said my eyesight is so bad that I would still have to wear contacts after the surgery. Yes I am blind as a bat. My son can have it done in a few years, if his vision stays the same.

I order my contacts through 1800contacts also and their prices have always been cheaper and it's free shipping if you order online and you usually get them on your door step in 3-5 days without standing in that horrific line at Costco Optical. Edited to say I pay about $19.95 a box (non colored) but because I have two different perscriptions I comes out to $39.90 for two boxes which lasts me 6 months. Not bad in my opinion.

I'll tell you why: I wanted colored contacts, so I ordered a different brand with 1800contacts! And they sent them to me. The color didn't show on my eyes, and I wasted my money, but they obviously didn't call my Dr.! I know it was stupid (I was younger), and I wouldn't mess with my eyes like that anymore. I even change my contacts every two weeks and get my eyes checked once a year. I'm a good girl....now! LOL PS. Only good when dealing with my eyes!

| Check with your eye dr first. Where I work, if you buy your contacts from our office, there isn't a charge if you have a problem and need an appt. However, if you buy from 1800 contacts, they don't have dr's to take care of you!
