Thank you |
Down to my last 2 rolls of paper towels and had to order brown recycled paper towels! Looks like the kind that autobody shops or something use! Huge, multiple rolls of them in the case! Growling here! The rest of the PT's had to be picked up and 98% of them said "out of stock"! Ah, well, at least I'll have something for cleaning up messes. And have it for a long, long, long time!!! |

I was also having a terrible time finding paper towels. Finally scored a pack yesterday though. Something else that is hard to find is pasta. Can't figure out why. |
It's true Lisa...I went shopping yesterday and the pasta aisle was very sparse. Cereal aisle was filled to the gills. The soups were depleted too. TP was nil also. Thought maybe it would start to get to some sort of normalcy in regards of supplying but not yet. |
I’ve not even noticed the food area. I’ve gotten mulch from my Walmart for landscaping. They are making everyone go in single file |

Yeah I noticed them doing that too. How far are you from the Falls? I was wanting to take a trip out there this summer |
This is still making me crazy. Now my neighbor thinks it’s OK for her daughter to visit because they are family members, but they don’t live together. One daughter is a PA, the other is a retired policewoman. In Maryland, there’s a $5000 fine and/or a year in jail for going out for anything but groceries or medicines or doctors appointments. So this is like the third person in my neighborhood alone that does not understand what the ‘stay at home’ directive from the governor means. SMH |

Kat, it is a shame some people don't want to follow the stay at home rules. Why they don't understand there is no exception for family and friends is beyond me. |
Warning: Do not at this time upgrade your Xfinity cable service because they won’t come in the house and set stuff up they leave it in a bag on your porch with no instructions I am so screwed |

This is one time I’m glad to not be living in a large metropolitan area |

Another thing I would like to see reported is the percentage rates of deaths to confirmed cases. Although the US has higher numbers of both, the death rate is one of the lowest, 3.47% last time I did the math. But I guess this is good news, so it’s best not to broadcast it. SSMH |

It is starting to get real for us now. My husband knows two people that have Corona. Before it was just statistics. |
That’s it isn’t it? Until it’s personal it’s just a number. |
Here’s a page with an update of deaths and recorded cases. It updates the stats regularly https://factba.se/topic/calendar |

I see how older people would be at greater risks but there’s been a lot of younger people falling victim to this |
I was watching Dr. Phil this morning. He said the Corona virus will start to slow down as the warm weather approaches but we are to continue wearing mask, keep 6 ft distance, stay away from crowds. He said this is just the first wave. He said in Oct. when the regular flu season comes the Corona virus will be twice as bad as it is now. He had a Dr. on that said they are working on a vaccine, it will take 18 months or longer before it can be given. He is advising isolation until a vaccine for this strain of virus is found. Dr. Phil said ppl in general, when they hear numbers of cases declining they will feel the end is coming close and begin going back to life as we once knew it, and the virus will spread again and be worse then it is now. He asked this Dr. how many deaths are expected between now through next winter entering the summer, she said 10 million, she didn't say if that number was world wide or just the USA. She also said Italy and Spain are still getting hit hard. I say, this is one way to decrease the population of ppl in this world. |
And to think we been stockpiling all those bombs |

I was wondering the same thing. Australia I read had got people coming in off a cruise ship for some of their cases. |
I saw on the news about two weeks ago that they actually did have a vaccine for this about five or so years ago but they didn’t make it because none of the drug companies want to fund it because at that time of course they didn’t see this pandemic happening. |
As Dr. Phil was explaining our normal flue season is Oct. trough now Spring time and few cases in the summer, the Corona virus will behave "almost" as our flu, ppl will still be getting it but just less cases but it's still out there. He was talking only about the USA not other countries. Dr. Phil has a instagram and FB page, you can always go there and ask him about southern Flordia, Louisiana and California. I am only repeating what he said to make you aware, if you hear cases are declining do not feel that we are safe. |

On the other hand I’m really not trusting the numbers because those numbers reflect only the cases that have actually been reported and the reporting protocols are different. So someone that happened to have coronavirus but died of a heart attack and they haven’t been able to determine if the coronavirus caused the heart attack or if they just had a heart attack would they have had it if they didn’t have the coronavirus and that kind of stuff. I really believe that the actual numbers are a lot higher all over. |

Unless a medical examiner/coroner does a post mortem, there is really no way to know if Covid19 or the cancer or another existing disease process actually led to the heart beating its last. It seems to me that an early, mild case of Covid19 virus in the system isn't necessarily and always actually the immediate cause of a heart stoppage in an already very sick patient and attributing all deaths to it is likely the most opportune conclusion without a PM for every death. We don't know if the advanced heart disease process, staff mistakes, poor medical management, an undiagnosed other infection/virus, blood thinners or other medications, etc. accidentally skipped, improperly ordered or over/under administered in the hours before that death; or what actually happened to cause that embolism or another issue eventually stopping the heart. But if that patient had been correctly or incorrectly diagnosed with Covid19, I'm lead to believe, that's listed as the cause of death by the medical provider. Maybe if he falls out of bed causing an open fracture of the skull with brain matter leakage just after his Covid19 admission, that would be listed differently but likely his admission for Covid19 would be listed as the cause of death. |
Yay! I finally got toilet paper! Life is good! |
