I am sure you have heard the saying "only in New York" Now you know why. I am from NY and really NY ppl are not idiots, but one would never know by that video. I guess Gov. Cuomo has not enforced the stay home and reason the police did nothing. Maybe he is waiting for the death count to reach 10,000 before he enforces the stay home policy. |

Heaven only knows what I would find living in my shoes if they were left on my porch lol, it has a roof but it's not enclosed. |

Cops or someone for city of Dallas and Dallas county has been directed to take ALL the basketball hoops down from parks today. Hopefully that will keep young people off the basketball courts for now. Wearing gloves, I've trashed every sack, box, container and envelope that's come into my house after a 2 week waiting period in the garage and all delivered food gets heated up immediately in the microwave for 2+ minutes in one of my microwave bowls. Have kinda ruined some of it with that but you gotta kill any germs that could be on or in the food. Remove the gloves to the washing machine(down to my last pair of rubber gloves) and go immediately and wash my hands. It's insane the amount of junk mail that had piled up but noticed it seems to have slowed quite a bit by Wednesday of last week, this week about 3 pieces besides a grocery preprint. Robocalls have really slowed down, too. My PCP had his nurse call to check on me, go over meds, etc. and go over any concerns, needs, give out the standard Covid-19 precautions. I thought that was very nice and thoughtful. Hope our economy can withstand the stress this is causing. With diminished tax money coming in, sales taxes drying up due to diminished shopping, lack of travel, gas expenditures, government spending going through the roof, am truly worried about a mini-depression if people keep running around and going about life as usual. |
We are passing on a mountain of debt to our kids and grand kids. |

Waaaaa! No recreational boating in Maryland this summer or until it’s over. |
I wanna know who has all the damn toilet paper! |
My SD works as a manager at a medium chain grocery store and she can’t get us any tp. She said the truck comes in and it’s gone in an hour. Every day! |

New Yorkers show way too many still apparently defying social distancing rules while their city using so many medical resources and supplies to try to keep the very sick alive. Each of these people could have an older person or otherwise at-risk person at home or the workplace they could now carry the virus right to. Wonder how many of these folks use hand sanitizer or wash hands properly after touching others or handrails, door knobs, elevator buttons, money? How many of these folks are going straight to a job at a pharmacy, grocery, take-out restaurant, packaging department or or delivery service where likely no surgical gloves are readily available before they start working - or home to care for granny? I'm sure their workplace advises them strongly to wash their hands before beginning work but with this same level of irresponsibility, wonder how many of them actually do ever bother to wash for 20 seconds with soap before they do? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ing-rules.html |
I don’t have an answer but, if this epidemic doesn’t promote good hygiene nothing ever will |

Haha. Just use your own judgment there. Hope these huge families all work and live in one space so as not to infect others by this! Whatever is going on, it's not working to keep NYC's case load down so far. Wonder how many critical medical resources they are using up? |

How many cases are in your area? We just got a second case. I don’t expect our health department to release names. I do wish they would say what town they’re from. Since this all started, I’ve not left town. |

Also many are asymptomatic (showing no symptoms) and able to spread the virus. Knowing who has it is of no help. We have to suspect that everyone has it and protect ourselves accordingly. |
Chris Cuomo of CNN has tested positive. He’s doing his show, Cuomo Prime Time, from his basement where he is quarantined. He’s telling us day by day what it’s like to have CV. Very scary. He says “This is not the flu, you do not want to get this”. |
Not at my age I don’t want it. And seeing people in their 30’s dying from it is scary |

I’ll be 64 on the 11th of April . Looks like, a lot of us on here are in an age group that really needs to be careful |
1 Attachment(s) Hi everyone! It's been well over a year since I last logged on. I can't believe I've been away so long - I've really missed reading everyone's posts. I've been busy with my first born. He just turned 1 year old last month. And my life has been turned upside down, in a good but tiring way. *both my Yorkies have been doing really good too! But they miss the long walks I used to take them (husband takes them now, and it's usually short, for potty purposes only). My husband has been working from home and I've basically been home for the past 3 weeks and haven't gone out. Getting a little stir crazy, but obviously it's necessary, if we ever want this pandemic to be over. At this point, we're assuming everyone has the virus, including ourselves. Just wanted to share... If you haven't seen this video yet about safe groceries shopping tips, it's got some good info. We started to disinfect everything that comes from outside into our home. https://youtu.be/sjDuwc9KBps And also, for those who wear gloves as protection, just be aware that sometimes gloves aren't always the best idea. I thought the Glitter analogy is a really good way to think about it. https://creakyjoints.org/living-with...s-coronavirus/ It's surreal and tragic how this is actually happening all around the world. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Especially if you're 60+. I'm keeping positive thoughts for you!! While stuck at home, and with my baby being a bit older, I've been back at working on my pet portrait painting commissions. Here's one of my recent work in progresses :) |
Canana, glad you are back on YT and love your art work. Also, thanks for posting the video and article. It was worth the time to watch/read to see how to do things better. |

I have not read the link, got soooooo excited when I saw your name lol, but will check it out, thank you for posting it. I know you are busy as babies are a lot of work and need a lot of attention, it would be great to hear from you again. Wonderful your furbabies have adapted to a human new baby brother. Your art work is awesome, big, big hugs to you. |
Got it! 1 Attachment(s) I found the alternative to paper toilet paper, yay! Bio Bidet! I actually found this at a thrift store two or three years ago and it seemed like a good time to install it today. So I did. Let me just say highly recommended. Ugly but gets the job done, and saves trees! Who knew? Attachment 413469 |
