Cheryl, your tree is beautiful! I love the classic colors and Ann- not only is your tree gorgeous but I love the showers of lights in your window! We live in a very windy climate (high winds always make the news out here and last year we were anchoring a part of the roof that was trying to rip off) so we have never done outdoor lights, I would really like to put some in the window like that. Very pretty.

I change out things like lampshades, pillows, throws, valances and so fort to a burgundy color, the rest of the year things are paler in shades of greens and beige florals

And I LOVE the way the units mirror the windows...sorry, I'm ignoring the Christmas theme at the moment...just totally enjoying those wonderful chairs and EVERYTHING!!!!

Those lights are super long (ie, ~6ft) icicle lights that we hang from the inside - so no worries about wind and weather. Maybe you could hang from the inside too...?

Thanks just started but it's a start lol! We haven't done outdoor lights either in quite some time now but I too love them! Inside just turns into a winter wonder land .... It's just to earn hot here to spend time decorating outside lol maybe one of these days!

Absolutely beautiful!! I LOVE how you did the lights in your window! I also liked the toile at the top too! I like to get creative with the tops, they tie it all together! Beautiful home too! it!

Very pretty! I love the idea of collecting tree toppers, that is a beautiful display! I would love something like that, but I would have to place high up, between my husband, 2 teenagers and Presley I already feel like I have 4 bulls in a china shop, esp when football is on Beautiful home as well

Lol my poor husband just rolls with Christmas anymore, he doesn't get a vote . I certainly will post pics, it's a local campground and Halloween is a huge event there, so we will literally be 5 miles from home My daughter and I decided to do the Alice In Wonderland theme for her, my two fur babies and my MILs poodle. I will be exhausted by the time we get there 😆

There are days I would LOVE to take the camper with just my husband and myself!

What a wonderful thread! I love Christmas too! I loved the skinny tree and topper and the lights in the window, beautiful! I'm new to decorating but really enjoyed it last year. I plan to do a similar theme again this year, add a few things to switch it up. We'll set the tree up November 1st, it took me a week to decorate it last year, I'm looking forward to doing it again this year. Now I'm exciited cause I remembered I have my twinkle lights to add to it this year. I have a pre holiday plan that I like to complete by Thanksgiving so I can enjoy the holdiays, less stressful for me because there's so much to do. I'll post some pictures from last year. Although I like the color of my valances, they were a mistake from the beginning and they're gone now.
