| Anyone believe in pennies from Heaven? I am one of those that believe in signs. If you haven't heard from pennies from Heaven, it is when a penny shows up in a strange place and that means someone from Heaven is giving you a sign that they are looking over you. Last year my 86 year old mother-in-law passed away and she was a very religious person. My in laws were just 2 weeks away from celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. A few months later my FIL was hospitalized with pneumonia and in the E R with doctors and nurses everywhere because he had a high fever and was fading fast. When I walked in the room my eyes went to something on the floor and there was a penny at the foot of his bed. I picked it up and it was a new penny (2014) I got a chill because this stuff freaks me out. My FIL recovered and is still alive. Last night my DH got up to use the bathroom and I heard what sounded like a marble rolling across the floor. When he came back I asked him what he dropped and he said he kicked a penny and it rolled across the floor. When I went to bed, I had to walk the same direction he did and never saw anything on the floor. Both pennies had a date of 2014 on them...my MIL passed away last year...2014. Have you had any pennies from Heaven encounters?

| My only quirk with pennies is that I won't pick up a found one if it is tails up. Heads up is good luck, I do pick those up. Some believe you should pass them on. My mil had Alzheimer's and would call but not remember what she wanted so she would just hang up without saying anything. After she died, for years the phone would ring and there wound be no one there and we used to say "Mom called"

| I have never heard about not picking up a penny unless it's heads up. I always pick them up to look at the date. For some reason I find more nickels than pennies. I will go for years without finding anything and then find 3 or 4 in a row. Wonder what that means? That just gave me chills about your phone ringing.

| I believe in pennies from Heaven. My Dad had always picked up pennies when he found them...not for any real belief. When he passed I'd find pennies, all sorts of change and even dollar bills. To this day I have every single monetary thing I found and keep in a piggy bank just for them. There are many signs people see when someone passes and find it very comforting myself.

| Sorry, I dont believe in that. I have heard of pennies and dimes but if a ghost or spirit could toss a coin why couldnt they just tap you on the shoulder?

| I didn't believe in signs but when we lost our ten year old son one evening about a year later and laughing about all the funny things he did, like saying 'partly' sorry in stead of 'heartly sorry' in confession. He thought partly was correct. He would also tell people on the phone if I had gone to the beauty shop that I had gone to the beauty shop to get an estimate. Anyway in the midst of this laughter, I felt a breeze on my shoulder and we were in the house. My facial expression must have changed because my Mother said 'Joan, are you alright' We also went to his favorite vacation about five years later, it was a cabin on a beautiful lake in Canada. I went out on the porch to look up to heaven thinking of him and a star dropped at that moment. I cried and at that moment, I was both happy and sad at the same time...the only way I could explain it.
