My only quirk with pennies is that I won't pick up a found one if it is tails up. Heads up is good luck, I do pick those up. Some believe you should pass them on.

My mil had Alzheimer's and would call but not remember what she wanted so she would just hang up without saying anything. After she died, for years the phone would ring and there wound be no one there and we used to say "Mom called"
