Go back a few pages ;) It's my newest obsession, loved the series!! Even went to see Michael C Hall on Broadway and met him. I actually started watching Dexter because of the show Six Feet Under with him in it. The last few seasons were not as good but the first 5 were excellent!!

Not seen him in 6 Feet Under yet.

I've been watching 4 shows in a row. Starting season 3 now.

I've already watched Grantchester and liked it. I'm gonna look up vikings, next.

I'm all caught up on broadchurch 2, just waiting for the last episode to air next week. Getting caught up on Stella 4, its only a few episodes in, so won't take long...then ill check out vikings.

If you have Netflix try "Orange Is The New Black" 2 seasons you can watch right now and season 3 should be on soon. It's awesome!! Women in prison! lol

I tried Orange is the New Black...didn't like it. Didn't like Dexter or Breaking Bad either. I Really don't like most of the popular shows. Weird cos my daughter likes all the above and watches them. Strange cos i know shes my daughter cos she has Pride & Prejudice, and Much Ado About Nothing marathons :D

I couldn't get into Orange is the New Black either, but admittedly only watched the first 2 eps a while back, but was very 'eh' about it. Same with Game of Thrones... I just cannot get into it. Sat through 7 episodes and had no clue what was going on. Well executed show, great acting, just not for me. So even tho I'm all :eek::eek: over anyone not liking BB because I just think HOW CAN YOU NOT!!! haha, I totally get it not liking a show that everyone else seems to like....

Great writing, acting, and story line on this series.

About to finish season 3 on dexter. I've not watched anything else since I started it.

I'm really enjoying Mike and Molly, I was hesitant to try it but it actually is very funny.

I also like Girl Meets World, it's a Boy Meets World spin off about Corey and Topanga's daughter.

IMO it's easier to read the books then watch the show, I had trouble keeping track of all the dark haired beareded guys prior to the books.

I couldn't get into GOT at first either. There were so many characters, and I don't like gore..and it was gory, so I only got about 3 episodes in and gave up. Then Lauren came home one weekend right before season two started and we had a marathon (with wine of course :)) and she explained the characters and their connections, then I was hooked. Still not a fan of the gore though...

i'm really liking Vikings. Four episodes in so far. Again, a bit gory for me. I am way too squeamish to have lived back in those barbaric times. But the story line is interesting & engaging.

I'm totally loving Grantchester - just watched the final episode - and want more. Muscular James Norton and his mop of rusty Kennedy hair, working his jaw muscles in his shirtsleeves & clergy vest, is a fine sight.

Sally, why didn't you tell me about "Sidney" before?

Anyone ever watch the Carnivāle series on tv?
A friend brought me the 3 seasons over.
I was going to try and watch some of it this evening

I loved Carnivale, but there was only 24 episodes (two seasons) before it got cancelled :( They had a few more seasons planned out, but never got to shoot them. There was some dispute with HBO and the creator doing another show on Showtime instead.

:D Hee hee! What's strange is, both 'Sidney' and James himself studied theology at Cambridge University, too....brains as well ;) :D

I watched five of the first episodes last night. I like the show. Still trying to figure out where they are going with it.

They did have a "final" show - but it was not supposed to end there, so it will leave you wanting for more!

I watch stalker on wed. Night. Sounds like it's a one season show. I hope they have an ending.

Ha - what a neat little tidbit to know about James. Wonder if he's really tall by today's standards or just taller than everyone in the series? He suffers so beautifully. And what is the deal with Amanda or whatever the ex's name is - always turning up!

We've had rain, ice, sleet for 3 days, including some snow today so, being stuck in the house, I'm binge-watching to catch up on Downtown today - falling a little back into its spell.

Ohhhh Karan - I sooo loved the first Broadchurch - found it intriguing and unmissable. We were so looking forward to No.2. And we watched every episode, thinking 'this has got to get better' :( But it never did, did it? Talk about confusing, a bit silly and very dis-jointed.

Apparently No.3 is well underway - not sure we'll bother with it though. How often that the follow-ups can never be a patch on the first?

No Travis Flimmel is in Vikings. He is that gorgeous Calvin Klein's underwear model from years ago with the long blonde hair. He plays the lead but I really love the show as the women play strong role models as well.
