I am bummed they took Nip Tuck off netflix. I wanted to rewatch an ep the other day. Guess I'll have to find it online somewhere else. GREAT show. I seriously loved the Sean/Christian bromance lol.

I was thinking about checking out The Good Wife recently. I may give it a shot, not sure if it's on netflix or not.

Ohhhh I kind of briefly remember this! I THINK my dad watched it and enjoyed it back when it first came out. I'll have to check out!

Currently on season 3 of Breaking Bad...OMG, it is so good...I don't even sleep, hoping to finish within next 2 days!!!

It's amazing. I kept watching the show and thinking "this HAS to be the highpoint of the series!" and no, it never was the highpoint until one of the last 3 or so episodes (I don't want to say which is my favorite yet, but all three of them are incredible).

Lol, I literally don't think I slept properly for weeks while watching that show.

Yeah, I didn't start watching the show until after Season 4 after a friend kept getting on me about watching it. Waiting two years for both halves of Season 5 was murder after watching the first four seasons in a couple of weeks lol.

I finally got around to watching Orange Is The New Black - loved it! I can't wait for the next season. Now I am binge watching Breaking Bad - even better! I'm on the last season now. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Spent this past week watching the Sky tv series Mount Pleasant.
Worked out great as series four is just starting up.

Next up is a re-watch of the last few episodes of Downton in preparation for season 5.

Walking Dead will be back Sunday October 12.

This is a great thread. I've gotten lots of great ideas. I loved House - the last show wasn't what I was expecting. Here are some of my favorite series:

Pillars of the Earth and its sequel World Without End

Most of the Investigation Discovery Series -there are several different ones

I am intrigued by the crime solving forensics programs

Rocket City Red Necks - this one is really entertaining. A scientist from Huntsville Space program along with his dad (retired rocket scientist) and a couple of friends build some interesting "things" with both good and bad results.

I'm not into "fake" horror, but I really enjoy the ID series built around real murder cases - Deadly Women was fantastic. all of the series built around real murder cases.

I love: The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Witches of Eastend, Vampire Diaries and Under the Dome to name a few. I watch a lot of TV.

Does anyone else ever feel bummed when they can't get into a series that everyone else is into it? Game of Thrones just isn't doing it for me. I watched 7 eps so far and I'm still just... not that invested in the story. I think they do a fantastic job, it's a GOOD quality show, amazing acting, etc, but I'm just not feeling it.

Anyone watching Sleepy Hollow? New series I'm loving is Outlander on Starz.

I feel the same way about Sons of Anarchy, watched 5 episodes and just couldn't get into it, maybe will try again at another time. Finished Breaking Bad and I loved it so much....started watching American Horror Story, I like that each season is a totally different storyline. Halloween is coming up, love this time of year...makes you want to watch horror movies/ shows.

I love AHS! I only have watched the first 2 seasons, and part of the 3rd. I need to watch the 3rd butt waiting for it on netflix. I really like the new storyline every season too but with a lot of the same actors. I liked season 1 better than 2 personally. But 3 I've heard is really great! Jessica Lange is amazing in all.

Can't wait for Sleepy Hollow!! Love the show! Also the Black List!! DVR will be getting used big time!! :)

I love Sleepy Hollow as well. For a great series watch GOTHAM tonight same channel as Sleepy Hollow.

Same here, couldn't get into GOT or SOA no matter how much I tried...EVERYBODY I know, even my brother totally loves it. I finally got excited when the dragons appeared on GOT & was like, that's it?! loll

Some shows on tv that I really liked was The 100, Tomorrow People & Bates Motel...can't wait for those too!

I believe Tomorrow People was cancelled. The 100 will be coming back I am working on the season opener show today.

The 100 was kind of slow @ 1st but it got better & better & the season finale was so good! Left me wanting more.
Gotham looks very promising, love that Jada Pinkett Smith is the villainess!

I personally like Person of Interest. I also watch The Middle. :)

I like Scorpion, The Middle, Modern Family, The Goldbergs, Blackish, Blacklist, Madam Secretary, CSI, ......I think it is with a VERY heavy heart that I must leave Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder...., I am not able or willing to stomach the overt sexually explicit humping, bumping, masturbation, oral sex, etc that is a common thread that runs right thru these shows. The scene of Olivia and that man on the beach on the chaise lounge, and the up close and obviously sexual manual "fun" he was pleasuring Olivia, coupled by the affirmation of pleasure on her face (is he tickling her Aunt Judy???)....well, I just can not stomach this from a show that is on at 8pm....we still have children up at that time.....last season, I was able to cautiously watch the bumpimg and grinding, sex on desks, counters, table tops, floors, showers, even up the wall....but it is just toooooooo explicit and graphic for me this year....and the one that follows at 9pm, is clearly headed down the same path, as the "professor" climbs off the table, pulling her panties up and her dress down, and the man there with her, appears from between her legs. I am so disappointed, I was REALLY looking forward to these new shows..... but life goes on....

I know what you mean...so many shows now that my kids can't watch because they are inappropriate....I love American Horror story. It's a show I would let them watch if they take out all of the sexual contents...I love horror stuff, and so do they, but alas life does go on!!!

Started watching The Killing this weekend on Amazon Prime - AWESOME. SO good! Highly recommend it.

I am by no means a prude but I have been shocked by what is shown during family viewing time. LOL I remember the days when the maiden form 24 hour bra commercials had to have the woman wearing a turtleneck shirt underneath the bra they were advertising. Not much is left up to the imagination today probably why there is not much imagination in TV writing these days.

I am also watching Sleepy Hollow. Though I don't think Gotham is that good so far. I was expecting more I guess. I'm a big Batman fan so maybe that's why.

I didn't like Walking Dead. I watched a few mins and got bored.

I'm honestly over Walking Dead lol. I liked it for a while but I am always so bored with it every week last season. I only end up watching because my 11 year old brother is obsessed but I've fallen asleep a few times :p

Never even heard of Sleepy Hollow... will have to check out
