Oh.... the price of sun abuse of my skin sure is tough. We just didn't know better back then.

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Maybe we should all share our a.m./p.m. skin routines w/ specific product names, either in this thread or another one. Anyone interested in seeing others' regimens? Sandy - what do you love about the TNS serum? It looks interesting.

The only downside is the cost, however I use it frugally, only about a large pea size dot covers my whole face. Buying on Amazon saves me $100 over the price at the Dermatologist's. It smells a little musky when you first put it on for about 5 minutes. I remember Oprah raving about it years ago. The reviews on Amazon are very positive. I've used it a little less than a year, and had to stop for 2 months after FX Laser until skin healed.

It has a slight musk scent at first, but that goes away quickly. It also lightens my skin slightly, which isn't something I love, as my face is lighter than the rest of my usually tanned body, so I have to use tinted moisturizer and bronzers. It truly is amazing stuff. I had fractal laser 2 years ago, and was told not to use this or anything like it for 2 months. My face was so soft and fragile, like baby skin after that, everything was too harsh. Laser even wiped out my freckles, which have now come back. I tried the micro derm needle thing last night with hyalauric acid after. (hope I spelled those right) Crazy how we have to torture our faces a bit to send the skin into healing mode to make more collagen..... This is the penalty of aging, and for me not using sunscreen for most of my life in Arizona and Hawaii. I hope by bumping up this thread, those who posted before will update and share new info; and that newer members will also join in. It was/is a great topic.

The week after fractal laser my face looked like I walked through fire, blistered and peeling, and soooo painful. Then it was swollen for a few weeks, and finally it was soft and smooth. Couldn't wear makeup and only certain moisture creams. It did take 5 or more years off, helped with fine lines and evened out tone. I don't ever want to do it again though. I've heard laser resurfacing is even more painful. I'll just stick with the TNS, and use the Olay scrubber and micro derm roller.

Geez, it takes a lot of time to do all these maintenance things, doesn't it?

Omg, tell me about it! Isn't it just a pain!? Ever since you brought up the TNS, I'm so interested in it...but I haven't been able to bite the bullet on the price, ugh. How long does a jar last you, btw? And are you using it just once per day?

I get it on Amazon for around $150, where at the dermatologist's office it is $260 to $280. Read the reviews on Amazon. I first heard of it on Oprah years ago, it was on her list of favorite things. My daughter and I have used it for 2 1/2 years and love it. There is really nothing else like it. The first month I used it my (adult) daughter said my skin looked so much better, she questioned if I even wanted to go ahead with the fractal laser treatment. I have to confess that another thing that helps is the humidity here. When I go back to Arizona for a week or so, my face can look 10 years old from the dryness. Really need moisture cream there, plus lots of water to hydrate

| I had forgotten about this thread. Lately I have just been using a mix of cocoa butter and coconut oil on my face and body and I haven't had the clogged pored on my nose in quite some time. But the air here is so dry. If I don't moisturize enough it really starts to show the wrinkles around my eyes.
