| ![]() Hey, remember this similar thread 2 years ago? http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/off...care-club.html Lots of good info was shared. I got the Olay brush, and think it really helps, although I am inconsistent in using it. It is only around $30, so much cheaper than the Clarisonic, and I wonder if anyone has used both and can give reviews.

Now I need a tutorial on the skin peels, how do you decide what's best for your skin, and do the really make your skin peel?

I bought two, but I'm not sure I'm going to try it yet, lol. It works the same way as a wound, lol, all the science that goes on in your skin to heal the wound happens when you use the roller on your face! Point being it makes your skin cells grow and shed faster, and with weekly or biweekly wounding, the collagen builds up fast!

So this microneedling and Clairsonic stuff, does it actually work for clearing pores or just for reducing lines? I don't really need to reduce lines but I do have clogged pores.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() If all you have is clogged pores, I would think you would want to try salicylic acid and perhaps the Clairisonic. The salicylic acid comes in many forms including different washes, but it suppose to be great for unclogging pores. Also, a temporary measure to make your pores look 1000% better try Revitalift Miracle Blur by L'Oreal, it really is an amazing product.

| ![]() I had really oily skin as a teenager and now iny early 20s my face is sadly sensitive to everything I ever try. I cannot use the clarisonic, products targeted to sensitive skin give me a rash, Anything exfliating makes my face actually bloody and raw. .ugh! I am a huge huge fan of Lush Cosmetics, they are Canada based and all their products are made with natural ingredients, lots of them vegan. I use a cleanser with calamine, lavender, honey, and a bunch if other skin soothing ingredients. It still makes my face burn when I use it but I haven't found anything better. I have huge pores from back when I had lots of blackheads but they are unclogged now, just remain huge and I have so much redness and irritation ![]() Anyone know of a simple, limited ingredient cleanser with no exfoliation beads, no harsh chemicals, perfumes, dyes, etc? I've tried Chanel, drugstore, Laura Mercier, Bioderma, Purity...like everything!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() Oh gawd, I love skin care / derm stuff! It's so interesting. What I really like now though (vs years ago), is that we now have evidence-based proof about certain products that we all should be using (ie Retinol, CE Ferulic etc)...so it takes out a lot of the guesswork and the marketing hoopla by companies pushing worthless products.
