It has a slight musk scent at first, but that goes away quickly. It also lightens my skin slightly, which isn't something I love, as my face is lighter than the rest of my usually tanned body, so I have to use tinted moisturizer and bronzers.
It truly is amazing stuff. I had fractal laser 2 years ago, and was told not to use this or anything like it for 2 months. My face was so soft and fragile, like baby skin after that, everything was too harsh. Laser even wiped out my freckles, which have now come back.
I tried the micro derm needle thing last night with hyalauric acid after. (hope I spelled those right) Crazy how we have to torture our faces a bit to send the skin into healing mode to make more collagen..... This is the penalty of aging, and for me not using sunscreen for most of my life in Arizona and Hawaii.
I hope by bumping up this thread, those who posted before will update and share new info; and that newer members will also join in. It was/is a great topic. |
Oh, I lived out in the sun in California, not so much here in AZ. but wow can I tell a difference between the places I wore sunscreen and those I didn't. It would be impossible to stay out of the sun in Hawaii though and so not worth it. It's nice to know that there are some products and procedures that do work. I also got the micro derm needle roller thing, but only used it once. I got three different sizes and the one I used was too harsh. I think I may try the smallest size again sometime. Really loved the laser though and I'm so impressed with the results so far.
