I sure hope you can sleep somehow tonight. I believe if I were you I would just superglue myself to DH and drink until dawn!

Michelle, did you sleep at all last night? Couldn't help thinking about you as I tucked in my dustruffle under the boxspring last night in case anything wanted to crawl up it! It's not attractive-looking but it's only for the night and it keeps "things" from using it as a ladder up to the bed. How's your BP today?

I actually slept good last night..I am trying to put it out of my mind. Begging DH to just remove the darn skin because it just creeps me out..but it is still hanging there this morning

LOL, y'all are hilarious! As long as I could confirm it was not poisioness I wouldn't be bothered by it, but I'm not familair with the snakes in your area. I assume you get some of the really bad ones.

It looks like he thought you needed some exterior design work and left you a nice gift. LOL. I took a picture of a LIVE one over the weekend that was about 6 feet long,

but not too close to my house.

Ewww on the 6 ft snake. As far as our area we do have poisonous snakes..rattlesnakes, copperheads and water mocassins

I have only seen a copperhead and that was like 35 years ago.

I think your pic is of the snake shedding it's skin.... the lower part that you can see through is the shed... the upper part that you cannot see through is the snake! Right above the wire, you can see where the skin is just pulling off the snake. It comes off inside out, usually in one piece... it does stretch a little in the process.
